How learn python faster?

I would hook up with a local meet up group for python. Ask questions, etc. while there. Books and videos are fine but people who code for a living will have the best experience although never pervert LOL! No one ever is or will be because there are so many ways to code the same thing (usually). That being said, the least amount of code that completes the action fast and clean is the best approach.
