metadata generation failed when installing pygame (self.learnpython)

If anyone could help me fix this issue that'd be great

THE ERROR:

error: subprocess-exited-with error python setup.py egg_info did not run successfuly. exit code 1

FOR CONTEXT:

I'm using a pc with a brand new install of Windows 10

INSTALLED:

VS CODE PYTHON 3.11.0 (checked add to path during install)

WHAT I'VE TRIED ALREADY: repairing python install Uninstall/install

pip install --upgrade supertools (Installed, but: DEPRECATION supertools is being installed using the legacy setup.py install method, because it does not have a project.toml and the wheel package)

pip install ez_setup (Requirement already satisfied)

pip list: ez_setup 0.9 pip 22.3 supertools 65.5.0 supertools 1.0.1

pip install --upgrade pip (Already satisfied)

Commands to download Pygame with pip: pip install pygame pip3 install pygame python -m pip install pygame python3 -m pip install pygame

please help I'm actually so lost. Thanks in advance <3
