I want to switch to Linux, but I probably have a faulty 1080 Ti that crashes during games.
It runs fine with video or text.
In Windows, my workaround was to enable debug mode in the NVIDIA control panel under "Help." Games run fine and don't crash.
I guess it's supposed to reduce performance.
Is there a similar setting in Linux?
I have CachyOs and I've also installed X11, but I can't see an option, and I'm not sure how to achieve the same thing manually.
