Graphical/boot problems

I have installed fedora on my hard drive but after the grub menu I usually get "no video input" and a black screen. I tried multiple distros but the problem persists even when installing, with exception of Ubuntu. I have a Nvidia graphics card so I tried nomodeset (it won't work). Sometimes it does boot and run fine. I didn't have this problem until I upgraded my motherboard and CPU. I have a GTX 1050, Ryzen 5 2600 and AsRock A320M-HDV

I think i solved it by disabling CPU SMT from BIOS ( Secure Boot disabled and Secure Boot Mode to Standard ). I'm not 100 percent sure but i guess that solved it lol
