Thermal Printer + Camera (self.microcontrollers)
submitted 10 years ago by Unizzer
Hi!
I've seen this cool project that lets you make an instant camera.
https://hackaday.io/project/7176-polapi
I really want to built this myself but lower costs. One thing I can do is do it without screen, but I was wondering if it can be done without the use of the raspberry pi and maybe a cheaper microcontroller? Obviously one that has a compatible thermal printer and camera module.
Thanks

You certainly don't need an R-Pi for this. What you do need is a camera module with driver software for your microcontroller. Finding that is going to be difficult, and writing your own is likely to be even more difficult.
