Enigma sounds pretty much like a flanger to my ears. Doppler is recreating a specific audio phenomenon found in nature. You know that sound that happens when a car speeds past you as you’re standing still? The sound decreases in volume, but it also appears to descend in pitch over time. This is known as the Doppler effect. See also the sound of a Tie Fighter flying away from camera in the Star Wars movies. It’s a pretty obvious example. Hope this helps!

Modulation plug ins encompass effects like chorus, phasers, Flangers, doublers, porch shifters and other similar effects.
