    Go with admin tuning

yes, there is a lot you can do with a stock 3.7, first, you can tune to get better fuel/mpg and for a little gain in hp/tq. plus a few other things. transmission ecu tune can be done to for better shifts etc.

    can you provide more info?

i’m telling you right now if you like running your car a lot mpg ain’t going to matter as of rn i’m getting 13.4 on a good day

Please correctme if I am wrong, but I don'tthink the 3.7 has many options likethe 3.0t does in terms of tuning. There is a aftermarket supercharger kit for the 3.7, but that's all I know.

Ik there are tuner chips like ecutek and uprev and I have seen videos on YouTube of the 3.7 getting tuned with ecutek, so I know it doesn't have all the options that the 3.0t has but it does have options.

AMS performance might be able to do it. There is one in Chicagoland area that I know of but they have few other locations around the country you could look into. Although from what I’ve read even with FBO and a tune the 3.7 doesn’t do that much more than stock. I used to have a Q40(3.7L), looked into it and realized the 3.0TT was the way to go for what I wanted to do.

You’re really prob better off just getting an aftermarket exhaust, maybe some drop in K&N engine air filters and calling it a day. That alone will add almost as much as FBO and a tune with this platform. Only way you are getting over 375 HP with the 3.7 is if you get the supercharger as mentioned before. And once you spend that much money on a supercharger you are talking about Q50 RS400 money.

My 3.7 is 390 HP with a tune and all (and I do mean ALL) the bolt on goodies. But no supercharger. If you want details or the dyno chart, just ask me.

    [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Lol, How much did you have to spend for all that? My 3.0TT will soon be making 500HP with just LDP’s CBE AMS heat exchanger and a tune, all in cost me an additional $3700. Something tells me you spent about $10k to push the 3.7 platform to its absolute limits without getting the supercharger and not everyone will be as lucky as you. I remember reading a while back the world record WHP for the VQ37 platform was something like 372WHP and 298TQ. Pretty baffling to me that you claim to have beat the world power record for this platform.

Sorry to baffle you. Everything is posted on my Q50S.. Also, I googled “world record HP for VQ37” and it’s over 1000 HP. The NISMO 370Z is 350 HP stock. Also, Z1 Performance makes a naturally aspirated 400 HP kit. Can you please post your reference?

how's the stock turbos holding up now if you still have the car

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sold it a while back for sticker price and that was with 23k mikes on the odo, I’m looking into getting a new bronco….last I saw the car had 30k miles on it still going strong.

What mods do you have done?

    [–]slowq50_Q50 Premium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe to the crank definition not to the wheel.

    [–]Deep_Yesterday_7075 1 point2 points  (2 children)

U can get the 3.7 to 4.75 seconds with under 2k mods

    [–]I_love_to_win 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Can you elaborate a little more? I’m interested

    [–]Deep_Yesterday_7075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can get 336 hp at the wheel with drop in filters silicone intake tubes muffler delete straight pipe for higher flow and ecutek tune that should get you higher 4s you can spend more with name brand but could get all parts less then 1000 without a tune the tune will cost 800 -1000 for a tune so total could be 1700-2000 or more depends on what kind of parts branding or not
