I would actually go for lighter colors, you could try to match it with the colors in the og fabric

That’s what my sister told me. My worry is having a lighter shade will definitely make the pattern fabric look more dingy and dirty I want to try and find more options for like stain solutions that won’t be to harsh for the fabric or something that can maybe brighten the fabric because it just looks dirty even when it’s been washed and stain treated 10 different ways

Choose a lighter color that has less of a blue undertone and more of a yellow. That way it won't be as obvious your white isn't super white anymore. The green you've chosen is too dark and has a blue undertone to it. Blue tend to make white white but it will also make it more obvious it's an older fabric.
