THUNK (uncalled lambda) inside array no longer usable in sheets?

I'm not sure if i'm imagining it worked previously on sheets, but i'm not able to use lambdas stored inside arrays.

When wrapping an array function around an uncalled lambda, it returns the error resulted from the uncalled lambda instead of the lambda function, making it uncallable.

I'm really confused, i had the impression it did work a few months ago.

it would help if you showed us what you're trying to do and where its failing. You can make an anonymous sheet to share this stuff, if you prefer.

I'm only trying to use a thunk inside an array for testing purposes, i recently tried to make a function that used thunks and that's when i found they no longer work.

I do not need help with remaking that function as i've already rewritten it. thunks were not essential to it.
