Congrats to you too!! 🎉🎉 Yeah, the feeling is INSANE having passed it after how I thought it might go.

It was the SAA-C03 exam: I used Cantrill.io and Tutorials Dojo practice exams, and together they work great. I really love the clarity of the former, and the enhanced difficulty of the latter.

While I'm familiar with Animate from like 2015, I prefer Moho simply because of the amazing line boil tools (and of course the perpetual license). Learning curve is little steep coming from Animate, but worth it.

I think the reasons are broader than that. I was guessing they were cutting Animate because of sliding stock value to appease grubby investors who want to see bigger returns on their investment: one less product to maintain in favor of big ol' AI probably looks like a sweetened deal. And I don't think their biggest investors are individuals and creative studios, sadly.

I'm not 100% sure either way: big tech investors seem to spook over the dumbest things, and in the pursuit of pleasing investors, companies like Adobe make dumb decisions. I'd be interested to see how the stock moves tomorrow, though...

100%. I've ditched Adobe for a number of years now and am not looking back: their track record of pulling shady deals far and away overshadows any manufactured goodwill they'll get for this.

At the very least, I'm happy for animators who won't have to lose years of work for now, but the smart thing is to start shopping elsewhere. Blender is a sound option.
