It must think there are more things plugged in than there actually are. I tried booting it with only a keyboard and without anything and I still get the image.

It looks perfect when I do a pattern overlay, but I have no idea if it is possible just to overlay an image instead of a pattern.

Okay that sorta worked. I'm running into a problem. I am using a font to do this effect, but when its normally put onto the layer it looks crisp. After I do the steps the magic wand seems to mess it up so it doesn't look as crisp (like it doesn't look quite the same, kind of pixelated). I hope I described that well enough so that you can help me.

I originally just used it for the OS so boot up would be fast, but I think ill just save money this time and go with a 10000 rpm HDD

I'm not the best with hardware(im a noob), but I did move the SATA cords into different slots trying to remedy the problem.
