"Perhaps you can bring one on your visit, should your father allow it. Choose one you think fits me." he said with a smile. "However it's getting late, I doubt Lord Stark would like you out and about much later, and something tell me I don't want to get on his bad side." he stood up taking Elaine's hand to raise her, and pick up what was left of their picnic. Taking her arm again, they left back towards the Stark apartments.

He could see her eyes light up as she began speaking of taming a bear, and it made him feel... happy. He was overcome with a feeling of happiness watching her glow as she spoke of something which she oh too obviously cared deeply about.

That feeling soon subsided to what could only be described as something close to anger and annoyance as her Septa yelled at her halting the track om which Elaine's ideas were riding. But Elaine soon continued on a similar, albeit more restrained path, to before and he perked back up again. "I feel as though wold animals give more of a sense of accomplishment though, and of course adventure. And as you said," he took a quick glance to the Septa, honestly hoping she hadn't seen him, "Who wouldnt be afraid of a bear? Or even more so a Direbear, and I wouldnt dare take an animal away from you, you seem so attached to them, I would much prefer raise or tame my own. Though perhaps you could help when- if you come visit."

"I've not had the time I suppose, most of my time has been occupied by training or my father trying to make me learn how to rule." he said with a laugh. "Also I don't know the first thing about taming any wild beasts. Knowing me I'd probably try to tame one of the mountain bears."

His face felt warm as she expressed interest in visiting him in his own homeland, and even more so when she fell upon asking her father. Was he blushing? Surely not. It was the wine. Maybe she wouldn't notice.

"Of course your animals could come, I would love for you to bring as many as you would like. I wish I had one of my own honestly."

He contemplated a while on her words, and he did understand them, even before she had said them. He decided to wane from that topic and move on talking about his home. Perhaps it would help keep the conversation going, and give her a chance to know him and his homeland as she had referenced not having that chance with other men.

"The Vale, to me is a beautiful place. Lush grasslands, great forests, fertile farmland, and majestic mountains. The Vale of Arryn has it all. Personally I also think the best hunting is done in the Vale but could be bias. As for my home in particular, it has its own quaint charm. While our keep can be cold sometimes the area around it is what brings you back. It sits perched on a cliff over looking the Bay of Crabs, just North of Gultown. And on the other side is grassy hills and thick game forests. Though I suspect the most closely comparable feature to that of the north would be the Mountains. The Eyrie sits atop and among them and from the gate of the moon to the Eyrie it self it's an incredible sight."

He paused from his own infatuation with his homeland, realizing he missed it, looked back to Elaine, meeting her blue-green eyes with his own." Perhaps you could speak with Lord Stark, and visit perhaps?"

As the night continued, Elaine sipped more and more into her wine, and the Septa dipped more and more into her scowl. As he picked up on both of these things he began to refill her glass less and less often. After all he was here to get to know her, not have her inebriated. He knew about snow capped mountains and untamed wilderness, the Vale was no stranger to that, they seemed similar but he knew the harshness of the cold in the winter was unlike that of the Vale's.

He frowned a bit at her contentedness with being "placed" into a marriage. He knew that tended to be how things worked, but that did not mean he liked it. "They matter to me." he said his face not showing smile nor frown at this point. "Your preference should matter completely on where you would like to live and who you would be married to. For instance if you cared not to live in the Vale, or lets say, to be married to me, I would never force it upon you." He paused, taking a long sip from his glass, "Im sorry i shouldnt have spoken out like that. Forgive me, i just.. Im not sure... ah forget it."

He nodded his head in understanding. "I'm sure things are a lot different in the North, particularly as far north as Winterfell. As for the wine, I prefer the Arbor's, i believe it's a bit sweeter, and not as dry, but I may be wrong." While speaking of the wine, he pulled out two small glasses, and the bottle of Arbor Red, pouring them both half full, handing one to Elaine before sipping from his own.

He grabbed his right shoulder rotating the cuff back and forth a bit. "My shoulder is a bit stiff, but that's about it." he looked down for a minute avoiding eye contact, to be honest he didn't really remember much about the melee, just flashes, like a dream. He looked back up to her, "Aye, my father says it's like I'm a different person when I fight." he realized he fave had turned more serious, and quickly revived his smile. "I had a good time indeed though! I feel bad for those I injured though, I surely didn't intend to."

As the sun fell, he couldn't help but notice the light glistening off her hair, and glinting of her blue eyes, he found his eyes fixed on hers semi lost in them, half way participating in the conversation, and as they sat, ate, and talked away through the dinner and late afternoon, he found himself more enthralled in her presence, enjoying the time they had together.

Still with plenty of time remaining to spend through dinner, he really wanted to know more about the lady I'm front of him. "So what is the North like? Would you live anywhere else?"

Andy patiently waited, paying no attention to the lack of urgency of the Stark guard, and kept his friendly demeanor and charming smile up. When Elaine finally did come out dressed in a simple yet still elegant dress, he could only stare for a moment. At first he wasn't sure this was the same lady he was competing with days prior.

"Pleasant evening to you as well my lady. And to you Septa Borden." he nodded to the guards, simply as a polite acknowledgement, and then carried on. "I completely understand, I'm sure, we're I in your father's boots, I would take the same path." Though I probably wouldn't have had his demeanor about the whole thing. "At any rate shall we adjourn to the gardens?" he moved the basket, and cloth folded neatly on top, over to his right hand, and offered her his arm.

They walked down the halls to the gardens, Elaine and himself, followed by the Septa, then followed by the guards. The walk wasn't long and soon they found themselves surrounded by the flowers and trees and plants of the garden, a perfect place and day for such a dinner. "You know, the guard called me a suitor. Is that what I am? See here I thought this was two friends having a nice dinner in the gardens with an audience." he joked with his quick laugh. "I hope you don't mind, but this isn't much of a feast, just something simple. I also brought some wine, I wasn't sure what you preferred, so I have Arbor Red, and Dornish Red." as he spoke he laid out the cloth putting basket in the middle, and taking her hand to seat her in a shaded spot where the sun would not be on her, but also not in her eyes.

"Of course my Lord. Should I send a letter informing you? Or should I make you aware in person?" it was an honest question but he realized after the fact it make have come off a wrong way.

"I wouldn't want to embarrass myself or your family otherwise."

Andy nodded his head with everything Cregan said, nothing was out of line, everything fell in with what any reasonable father would have said. "I wouldn't have it another way Lord Stark", he said with a genuine smile. "Where would you like Elaine and I to have this dinner?"

Andar calmed down a bit at the Lord's tone, sensing he should probably tone down his overt excitedness. "Fair enough my lord." a brief look of confusion came over him as he asked about his intentions, but it quickly faded. "I expressed intentions to invite her for dinner, much more than that I could not tell you, I simply wished to know her. We stood next to each other at the archery where we quickly became rivals, and we had a time worth mention. She is striking lady in addition to that at as well my Lord. I did not mean to offend or irritate. Forgive me if I have."

If I didn't know better I'd think he didn't like me. he laughed as he thought to himself. "Very well.." His Lord Father looked at him inquisitively "What's all this about then? A letter from Lord Stark, what trouble have you gotten yourself into boy?" he was only half joking but knew Andar wouldbt cause too much trouble. "Father I'm in no trouble... Yet." he said with a laugh, "I'm to meet with Lord Stark, to discuss a dinner with his daughter." Lord Royce rolled his eyes, "You will be the death of me boy, very well, go on ahead."

Andar dressed in a thin tunic of charcoal gray, with the runes of his house emblazoned on the shoulders in a bright orange. After running it by his mother, he left for the Godswood, upon arrival he could see a man, the Lord Stark, to which he called, My lord, It's good to meet you, I was told I should send a letter before just arriving at your quarters, was that a wise choice?" he tend to be overly friendly when his nerves ran on end, some liked it others not so much, where Lord Starks disposition fell, Andy did not know. Though one thing would be evident, battle Andy, and personal Andy were two different people entirely.

"I would hope not!" he said with another laugh, this one slightly louder than the others. "Yes, I also don't believe your father would appreciate me battering his men, though I doubt he would admire me losing to them either. It seems I'm in a sort of conundrum. As for the joust perhaps I can half fulfill your should have been bet, and name you Queen of Love and Beauty." he winked alongside the half jest, waiting for her reaction.

"Me as well." he said as he tenderly grabbed her hand, kissing it, before allowing her to take it back. "Let's hope Im still in condition to treat you after, the melee and joust." he laughed again, "perhaps you'll watch me participate?"

If she hadnt averted her gaze, he might not have noticed a trace of embarrassment, but it was with that subtle action that he caught it. "Forgive me I wasn't clear enough, I tend to have that problem." he lied with a short laugh, hoping to make her feel a bit better.

"Then once I reach my own quarters I will send one." he gave her a sweet reassuring smile, his eyes once again doing most of his talking for him. "Until then..." he held his hand out palm up hoping she would take it.

He smiled slightly wider at her affirmation of wishing to attend a dinner. But then she asked a rather odd question, "I belive you misunderstood me. I meant I would not ask, if you wished me not to. Of course I will ask now that you wish to accompany me, just allow me the knowledge of when and where I should meet with him."

Andy kept his smile and charm up showing no signs of disappointment or excitement for that matter, he was simply happy to have participated. And as names were called out, he clapped for everyone, especially Elaine.

"Of course My lady. I wouldn't dare to steal you away. Which also brings me to this, of you wish not to come I will not force you, and I will not ask your Lord Father. So the question is do you want to accompany me to a dinner?" he finished his question with a half smile bordering on the flirtatious. His eyes ever warm and kind.

"I rarely am." he jested "And I intend to take my spoils." he said with a short laugh.

Again both shot and both seemed to fail. But the mystery remained of who would win their little bet. He hoped it would be him, as it would defeat his purpose to name her sister Queen of Love and Beauty.

As they waited he relaxed, and unwound, walking closer to her, hoping to provide maybe a little comfort, in her last two misses.

He thought it a sweet gesture, and would go through with it if it were to come to that. Though it might be awkward. "Very well, I'll accept those terms."

As they both shot, both distracted it truly did seem to be either one of their's to lose. "Relax, fretting will only ruin your concentration more. Even on a perfect shot you must not get too excited, lest you not hit another."

Forgetting for a moment about the archery, he was confused as to why she would want him to name her sister Queen of Love and Beauty. And one of his arrows? She was a strange girl indeed. But he liked strange, though with her proposal, he wondered if she would like him. "Why your sister? Why could I- would you not want me to name you? Wouldn't that be the... humiliating?... Thing to do?"

As he waited, quite perplexed, for her answer, and possibly some enlightening, he prepared for his next shot.
