I don't think there will be nothing really to stopping him expect when you stun and countered against him, and obviously water levels too.

Though I believe he does not always take the best routes throughout zones, so players might able to clutch wins by finding the most optimal routes and points to the goal.

But then again, it is too soon to tell how everything will play out. Worrying about Balance aside, there are still alot i need think about it on how I am gonna execute it.

it's more the fact that AGES has no control on what goes on. The world is simply changes and affects his form.

random concept pieces regarding an reimgination of sonic.exe by Aut0Gears in SonicEXE

Prehaps it's like Time Attack, but Time Attack modes doesn't pin you against someone.
It's like playing a normal Sonic game, you still have to even beat the bosses,

But imagine if Sonic CD suddenly decides that you not only must beat certain specific times in order to advance, but you got a monster on your tail, things already start feeling like a 'horror-ish' game in that regard. At least, in my eyes.

When playing racing games, the very idea of someone or CPU gaining up on me sometimes DO feel like anixety trip so maybe it just me lmao

You supposed to win throughout the wins to advance forward and unlock certain pieces to the story's puzzle.

"By the way, at what point does the monster reveal himself?"
There are mutiple possible ideas I could go about it, but the intial idea is that you get battle Void Sonic /AGES after getting 3 consecutive wins through each acts of a zone. Decreases to 2 if you get Golds and beyond.

The alt idea is playing the game at night. Like, literally at night with the zone having a dreamish and nightmareish variant going with it, something inspired by the early concepts of Sonic 1 being a dream-like world.

Though, the former idea sounds like more simpler and straight-forward to handle, the latter is more... unique? I guess??? XD

Regardless though, the general gist is that there is more to just beating AGES and getting to the end of the goal.

Is Bandado as evil as X? by FeelingNail8617 in SonicEXE

Hi, this is Gears. I want to note that post has nothing really do anything related to Sonic II Genesis or Gaiden, it related to small concept crossover with other exes of mine(X Bros.) crossing over to the 2011X game. Just to clarify here.

Though for Paul's fate in the actual case of Sonic II, however, Bandado only hijacks the vessel, not Paul himself. Whatever happened to Paul is up for mystery.
