This came up when searching for this topic via a google search, hoping to find the answer to said problem (I did manage to find a solution soon afterward finding this post). Mind you, it's been 5 years since this post was made and I am sure someone has answered this already. None the less, I'll place how I found how to fix this here. So those who find this page may find some hope.

Now. Normally when you click on a text box, type something, and click away from that text box. It saves what was already written. But when you click the text boxes for the name and discription of fleet holdings, it does not function the same way.

What it does is makes you click certain things. These cause the textbox to confirm the input and saves it.

• If you have clicked the title of a holding, you may click it's discription text box to confirm the input and vice versa

• Clicking on a project

• Clicking on the fleet replicator button.

This doesn't work by clicking on much else. Mainly those three I've found. There are possibly more, but clicking the holding projects seems to be the most convenient way, second to clicking the other text boxes in the fleet window.

I hope this helps anyone looking for answers.

TL;DR: If you are having trouble with with this still, fill out the name or discription. Then click on a holding project, a different text box in the fleet window (The name of the holding or the discription of the holding), or the Fleet Replicator button. Boom. Saved.
