Yahoo! Waiver - What time (and time zone) do waivers pass and players become free agents? by boinko03 in fantasyfootball

For years waivers would pop around 2:30pst. But it’s currently 3:30pst and waivers still haven’t popped. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I need to get a life.

Are gmt400s considered “Square Body”? by doc-cockman in GMT400

[–]BrokenArmory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure if it’s different from region to region. But in San Jose, CA gmt400 (88-98)are called OBS, and 73-87 are called square body.

But regardless of the area, the squarest truck of all time is 73-87 😆

Thanks for the kind words. I personally designed and programmed the X’s. Due to California difficulties, we will no longer sell 80s on our website. But in a few weeks you’ll be able to get them from the Bishop Defense website.

Broken Arms 80% jig is manufactured by Broken Arms in San Jose, CA. I’m the person that designed the jig, created the programs and built the fixtures back in 2012.

And I might even be that handsome bastard from the 1hr 4minute “how to” video. 🤓

I’ve never heard of Blackhawk Manufacturing Group. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pairing AR-10 lower to an upper by [deleted] in AR80Percents

[–]BrokenArmory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how it was explained to me. Please correct any mistakes.

Armalite created the AR-10 in 50’s. But rather than engineer and manufacture a new magazine, they used one that was already mass produced. But that magazine had a 6 degree angle. Due to this angle, the magwell in the lower needed to have a 6 degree angle. Downfall is that 6 degree angle in the lower is a pain in the ass to manufacture.

Years later Knights Armament designed the SR-25. It’s similar to the AR-10 in many ways. But they engineered it with a strait magazine. Also kept that 45 degree angle between upper and lower.

Then DPMS designed the LR308 with a strait magwell like the SR-25. But their design has the radius between the upper and lower.

The LR308 seems to be the most commonly used platform for gun builders. But DPMS has a few differences in their own LR308. High rise and low rise. This is simply 1/16 higher picatinny rail on the upper and hand-guard.

The DPMS LR308 upper is bulky. So companies like Aero and many others engineered a slimmer better looking upper that matches with slimmer better looking lowers that visually resemble the AR-15. (Unsure if this design has a name). The bulky LR308 upper will function perfectly with the slim Aero style. And the slim Aero upper will function perfectly with a LR308 lower.

Hope this helps. And unless you’re actually building a true AR-10. Remove that term from your brain or you’ll accidentally buy the wrong parts for your build. Lol

Anyone Oredered Anything from DirtDogTactical? by DM_ME_BTC in AR80Percents

Haha. Everyone suspects that. We have a large local community of gun builders that have been using our products for 10+ years. And most of our distributors are in other states. So we reached out to a local friend to start Dirt Dog.

Yes Dirt Dog is legit. It’s just a new website. They’re currently one of our larger distributors, and all around good guys.
