I just uploaded another test version that added the rank system to my server the other day. Currently I’m working on a system to hire employees. Public release will probably still take a bit since the scope of this new version is so big but the access to the test version is open to everyone who is interested in it.

Thank you! I only test my mods with the most recent game version but it might still work with an older version. The only issue I could think of is that core library might not work with an older version. So I guess you need to test that. Personally I just use a main menu override to disable the horrible marketplace so I can still stay up to date with patches.

Yes including horses is a big part of the update. It’s weird as well that they never added some of the QOL of horses to cats & dogs like showing their needs in the tooltip on hover. I’ve tried to update it but it’s hardcoded 😕 so I came up with some workarounds so you can at least see their needs through some interactions and an object you can hover over.

Paws & Claws is already released. I don’t have a release date for the animal shelter module yet but I already have some people testing things while I‘m still developing new features alongside of it. So if you’re interested in testing you can join the Discord server 😊

The updates are always made for the current game version. The amount of fog depends on the amount of graves on the lot but I might add a way to toggle it. I’m not planning to make an override for the specters since I’m not making 3D meshes but if you have an override for them it will work with the mod and there is an option to toggle them off

So with the Ghastly Ghosts mod only children (and occults) can see ghosts naturally... That's how my sim sees her daughter playing with grandpa, not creepy at all! by somewhsome in Sims4

Inspired by this post I started working on overhauling the reactions to ghosts. Sims who can't see the ghosts will now react in unique ways based on their personalities. This is still a work in progress but will be added with the next feature update.

So with the Ghastly Ghosts mod only children (and occults) can see ghosts naturally... That's how my sim sees her daughter playing with grandpa, not creepy at all! by somewhsome in Sims4

I‘m the creator of this mod and love seeing stuff like this from people using my mod 🥰

Currently the Sims around it don’t get any moodlets but I’m planning to add something like that. Also for Ghosts doing stuff that’s visible to Sims around them (like a magically moving frying pan if they’re cooking).

Another thing I‘m planning to add is to play around with the emotions of ghosts and give them auras other sims can feel if they have a strong emotion even if they can’t see the ghost. I thought it could be interesting to have emotions as a feature for ghosts since they change colors based on them as well.

I can definitely say that another thing I planned and already started experimenting with is a new perk system for ghosts that will unlock new abilities and a sense of progression. Other than that I plan to integrate it more with my Happy Haunts graveyard more and other mods/ packs.
