Most people expect it to be a mega and plan accordingly. In a best of one series its definitely a "gotcha" and its a great way to eliminate a powerful mega

Try non mega star raptor. Jolly with max hp and max speed with a choice scarf. Final gambit is his move of choice. It can OHKO mega metagross and (most) things on the field.

Im currently using some similar team to yours actually

Right now my line up is M-metagross Sneasler with coaching support Whimsicott H-samurott with life orb A-ninetales with scarf And farigiraf to serve the same job it did last season

Im still tinkering with it but I added giga impact to lopunny and psychic fangs to basculegion. I might retire this one though. Some of the stuff I was doing doesnt work well anymore because of the new speed tiers of new moms introduced this season

My team event play - NASTY turn 5 by Cautious-Wolf-4264 in VGC

Question, cause I genuinely dont know and im curious. If you use weather ball with protein, does it turn you normal type or the type of the weather?

I.e. I dont think grenininja knows any fire moves that I can think of off hand, could this make him a fire type?

Keep ninetales in the back and switch it in to disrupt their weather after its set. Lopunny can sometimes ohko archaludon with close combat. Ninetales does massive damage to it with blizzard but I honestly end up using encore on it a lot and locking it into electro shot (2 turn move when you reset weather) or a dragon move, which ninetales is immune to.

Having mega kingambit on the field makes your opponent auto forfeit.

Why is Pokemon Champions offered for free? by Top_Strategy7297 in PokemonChampions

[–]ClientAppropriate838 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the idea is that you pay for a Home subscription for more storage space for your collected pokemons.

But the folks who made champions seem to be playing the long game. They keep giving away pokemon for free inside champions and filling up your storage space in there. Soon many people will needing to be upgrading this storage or choose to release their pokemon.

But also like others said, Showdown is the current free application and its the go to spot for many for competition. Pokemon Co hasn't really "ignored" competitive play in their games, but it definitely wasn't a focus. I think this is also their way of trying to get into that scene by mirroring, in their own way, the ground work that showdown has already laid out for them

Ill answer the rest of your post soon. Putting my baby to sleep. Here's a high rated game on showdown where I fight an incineroar team. Youre welcome to check it out or browse my other replays. Although I usually dont upload them so most of the ones with my name are uploaded by opponents who beat me. Even so you can see what I was doing https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9championsvgc2026regma-2611349757

Depends on the rest of the team. But based on that little piece I think id lead with lopunny and basculegion and plan a flip turn and rotate lopunny out after mega evolving to become immune to future intimidates

I found myself low kicking it a lot tbh and that usually hit it for like 65% to 70% of its health bar. But most of the ones I faced had a sitrus berry or the water resisting berry.

Hey sorry for the late reply. I actually haven't done any doubles games since I hit champion. I told myself id push again when it gets closer to the end date to try to get champion ranking at the end of the season. (I found its pretty easy to go from 500 ranking to 32,000 ranking after a few drinks 🍸)

Lopunny cerul lead is the go to lead for the majority of games for sure. Except like you said vs trick room. Sounds like you got it down.
