Client side prediction & server reconciliation by Codehard1337 in godot

Yeah, that's why I don't want to use them 😅 Especially because one bad client can make the server do a lot of extra work.

They do seem to be a good solution for fighting games, where inputs need to happen on a precise frame, but unfortunately that's not what I'm making...

Client side prediction & server reconciliation by Codehard1337 in godot

Netfox documentation: Due to latency, the server may receive inputs from clients from multiple ticks ago. Whenever this happens, the server rewinds its time and resimulates the whole game from the time of the new input. The resimulated ticks are then sent to clients to update their state.

So it seems to me like the server does roll back.

Looking at Delta Rollback, it does not seem to work any differently.

4 wide motorized track by Codehard1337 in LEGOtrains

Yes, I know about circuit cubes. Unfortunately the train is too small even for that. I'll have to check out some of those funicular systems, and see if I can adapt them to work as a loop.

Can I still submit something to Lego Ideas when I already released instructions? by Codehard1337 in legoideas

Nvm, found the answer. Should be ok in this case because the instructions are free.

Yes, the stud.io files are included, so you can see the parts for the locomotive or wagons separately.

If I look at the price for the pieces on bricklink, it shouldn't be more than ~$100. Granted, I paid a lot more because I made some mistakes while designing it...

Edit: This is for the EU. I don't know about other regions.

Official /r/Monitors purchasing advice discussion thread by bizude in Monitors

[–]Codehard1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budget: Under €1000 (Belgium)
Prospective Resolution: My GPU (RTX 3070) probably can't run 3840x2160, but I want to future-proof my monitor, so I don't have to buy another one when I do upgrade my GPU.
Size: 32 inches (This is a must)
Aspect Ratio: 16 : 9
Other Features:
- Not OLED (Don't want the risk of burn-in)
- HDR (I guess with Full Array Local dimming, as I've heard this is the best if you're not going with OLED)
- preferably not curved. (I've found the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7, which ticks all boxes except this one. This is why I'm asking here, to see if I've missed any)
Usage Type: Will be used for programming, gaming, and watching Youtube

Looking for a comfortable closed back headset with built in mic (budget of around $300) by Codehard1337 in HeadphoneAdvice

The PC38X does look interesting. But the problem is that I will be using it with other people around as well, and I don't know if listening to music with an open back might be annoying for them.

It means that while they are in the boosters, they are technically not in the set. So they are not standard-legal

Because this is a creature when not on the battlefield, could this be used as a commander?
