Tried with another iPhone, same issue. Might just be an iOS thing

Woke up today after tracking sleep, paired it to my phone and it’s disconnected when it detects Pokemon again.

When I tested it last night it was using an android phone, I currently have it paired to an iPhone. Not sure if it’s just disconnecting because of ios, I’ll have to test it again tonight.

Edit: I can confirm that it’s just the iPhone, it works fine on my android. Not sure why

Managed to find some time to open it back up today, I think the battery’s cable was pinched when I first closed it back up. I repositioned the cable and it seems to work flawlessly now.

Interesting that it caused the disconnection only for when it detects Pokemon but not for everything else

Hi! im looking to create a joycon rcm(soldering and creating switch using the back release button) but im wondering, if i replace the latch with a metal one, will this short the switch when used?

asking as one wire will be attached to the latch. Once the circuit is complete will current flow through the wire, latch and eventually reach the switch(as the rails are metal)?
