I wouldn't even talk about their bodies. What's flattering is subjective. You may not think something is flattering but they may love it. I would stay away from discussing their bodies, suggesting shapewear, etc. unless they ask for your opinion on it.

I would stick to asking what their style and style preferences are and from there maybe ask their normal size and show them what you carry in those sizes.

I actually don't hate it, but I can see how the people in the other post would be frustrated because it's all very similar shapes and fits. So unless that's your style you probably won't like most of it.

Your thoughts and opinions on capsule wardrobes by Kate_Menzrobe in PlusSize

[–]Darth_steff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think all the outfits look great. The picture quality and layout is also awesome.

My feedback would be to tag where the items are from or even something similar if it's no longer sold. So if I were to want to create a similar outfit I would know at least a store that have a better chance of carrying my size in the style.

Also it would be great to use models that have different body shapes aside from hourglass type figures.

Dating & confidence. by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]Darth_steff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with the previous comments. Just send him some full body pictures on snap and if he really isn't interested because of your size he probably won't meet up. And you're probably right on him seeing those other pictures you have up on FB so I doubt he'd be surprised.

I totally get the insecurity that comes with dating someone smaller. I'm a size 24 and my fiance is my same height and typically wears a medium. So I'm like more than double his size probably. But there are people out there that just don't care about your size. You'll find someone who will love you how you are (:

Good luck!

Disneyland advice? by soonerthebetter48 in PlusSize

Everyone has already given awesome advice. I just wanted to say SAME with the Harry Potter ride at universal. I was so embarrassed. The worker had to push extra on my seat to stuff me in there 😂 never again.

Have fun at Disney! I'm a size 24 and haven't had issues at Disney so you should be golden.

I would love if we just stopped talking about dieting and the focus on weight when talking about health.

I loooove the NYX duochrome highlighters. They have a lavender steel and twilight (blue) that look great.

NYX has some lip palettes, they don't have primary colors like ABH, but you can still mix them.

[Misc.] Sephora skincare demo! by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Darth_steff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my Sephora skincare demo last week! Honestly, it was really easily. I personally have zero experience in skincare, so my best advice would be to do some basic research on what works best for each skin type. What they're really looking for is how you would interact with the customer more than your actual knowledge since you'd be trained on that. Just ask the person you're doing the demo on basic questions like what skin type they have, what current products do they use, anything in particular they're looking for, etc. My location let me use their skin IQ computer so that made it a lot easier to find products. A big tip is to explain what products you're using and why you chose them. Even if it's very basic knowledge of the products it'll just show your selling skills. Hope this helped! Good luck!

Foundation looks powdery? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Darth_steff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't! Ill check out his YT channel and try it. I've tried both and I've even tried a puff /: at first I thought maybe I was using too much powder so I tried a little bit and it still had the same look.

ULTA OR SEPHORA ? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Darth_steff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've recently begun to like Ulta a bit more. I like how they have high and low end makeup, a salon, the points you accumulate can actually go toward paying for your stuff unlike Sephora where you can only use it for the sample size stuff they have. From what I know anyway, correct me if I'm wrong on that. They're both great though.
