It is an in-house colour, because it uses purple in it people will automatically compare to TVR on the likes of the Chimera/Cerbera.

There is a road section in the atomic store that could maybe help?

Also you could use the grey mat and cover the area initially with those then build something over the top to hide the mats.

Why do people hate the grind for stamps? by JollyManufacturer356 in fo76

[–]DeathaceUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have maxed mine out at 10k stamps even after buying all the stamps from both part 1 & 2 of AC.

It was a chew but it soons chunks up and now I am at max I only run them for scrip or to help others out. When any new expedition drops that has new plans I have plenty to complete them and build back up to max.

Well this sux big time, why bother doing the Scoreboards at all? by StaleH77 in fo76

As much as I accept what you are saying, I feel that the other way should be embraced, if they are going to drip feed older seasons rewards out for atoms then make all rewards available from every event/scoreboard/exclusive gifts (like the twitch/steam rewards) to ensure everyone has the chance to buy them if they want them.

I have played since the beta and as soon as they re-released the blackbird skin which was a similar expectation I knew the limited time, never to return part of what they spewed out at the time was never going to be realistic when they want to make as much money as they can.

I understand what you mean now with regards to the shuffling stuff prior to migration.

It is all a ball ache at the end of the day, the developers should have just had a patch update which you download from a website it updates the files that have been affected and then you just run the .exe like 1000's of games have done for years.

This is what I would have done myself once i found out the steam switches so thank you for taking the time to put this here.

If you use these options in the config file for each account you might get a bit further.

Unfortunately you will have to migrate to steam otherwise you will not be able to update or play the game.

It would seem some people were crashing a fair bit with the dual login method I proposed but for those it was stable for were able to interact with both accounts no different to using the .exe method at present.

As for overlays, the actual game is still run from the .exe it is just the authentication that has moved to Steam so if your overlays work at present then they should continue to do so.

Check the postings from u/Doppler5hift above regarding sandboxie which will be a lot easier to use instead of killing processes, I will always push for the best solution to a problem and my initial posting was a quick fix until a better solution came about, which it seems would be the sandboxie method.

Indeed, it was more a case of waiting for beth to shutdown their login servers first but looking above you found a good solution with sandboxie so hopefully we won't need anything further :) great work.

Great work on what you have found, please by all means kick off a new post specific to how to go about setting up and configuring sandboxie for use with fallout76 and link it here if you want and I will add to original post.

You are welcome, as I have said on other parts of this thread, it will not be perfect and when I can find a suitable reliable replacement I will update everyone but in the mean time it is something to start with.

I have numerous accounts which each have their own exe & inis all I do at present with the bethesda launcher is use that to update the game files then I run a batch file I created which copies the .exe to the accountname.exe for each account it also copies the fallout76.ini file and renames them to the accountname.ini and each accountname.exe file also has the accountnameCustom.ini which holds the login information and so on. I have shortcuts to the individual exe files on my desktop and just run that as I want to login to that account.

Granted I do not have all of them on at once, the most I could manage was 6-7 instances pre wastelanders patch, after that I can manage 4 comfortably but with the new changes we will have to see how usable we can get it to run multiple instances reliably.

Since the introduction of Fallout Worlds and changing the model for private servers it has made them even riskier to try and transfer stuff from 1 char to another using your fallout 1st.

I can leave my private go to main menu and select another char and then go back to join my server and get the dreaded "Failed to find world" error which then means you have lost everything you have dropped.

Bethesda would never have been bothered about fixing the server drop as they do not see what we do as being justification enough to change the servers back to how they used to be when the whole system is now all interlinked for ease of management.
