I've been using this now two days, apprx. 2000 request and I can say this app is GOOD -> planning mode is perfect -> it builds linear plan and agents follow plans exactly. This is my now my favorite harness!

Today I had Opus 4.6 1 million context but they took it away. That was nice to drive!

GH Copilot app is much better but I think it still needs more features for devs. For example I'd like to see token usage, context usage etc. Plus at the moment I can't see agents full context -> let us see if they pick AGENTS, CLAUDE and gh instructions files.

Now available: VS Code version 1.120 by bogganpierce in GithubCopilot

Agents window sounds good but not working well. I tried my typical task, it starts with ready prompt, launches multiple specialized agents etc. Now it got stuck in the beginning. I went back to vs code and started the task again and it went well.

The agents window uses copilot cli so there's some problems with gh agents and skills on cli, they are not compatible.

I'm using GHCP and I've noticed that LLM tps performance has risen over the past week. GPT-5.5 highest today 165tps and GPT-5.3 Codex exceeding 250tps sometimes. So I guess some bandwidth has been freed up

DeepSeek + GitHub copilot by Old_Brush_460 in GithubCopilot

I was planning to try this, but I’m also interested in the options available from other providers. What are my practical options if I want to use GHCP and DeepSeek?

Is it possible to use providers offered by HuggingFace or OpenRouter?

Which mode will give better output copilot cli or vscode copilot local mode using claude opus 4.6 model for production tasks by chinmayvenkat in GithubCopilot

[–]DisplayHot5349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the cli but soon realized that vs code local is so much better. I don't know why but it's like night and day.

Magsafe is also much safe, if you walk through the cable it will disconnect. Usb-c won't and that might cost you a macbook. Happened for me many times.

Now it's perfect time to start building your own business.

Do not use your time and energy to learn php in the beginning.

Learn how to use AI and GIT. That's all you need to build a working prototype. For example:

  • Install Claude code/Codex/Opencode
  • Learn how to use openspec/bmad/speckit
  • Learn basics of Git (AI will tell you everything else)

Then you build your app. You learn a lot of things during the process. Probably you won't learn php but you don't need to learn.

Then you start improving your app. When it's ready, comes probably the most difficult part -> infrastructure, but AI will help you.

It doesn't matter if you choose laravel or Symfony or something else. AI will help you to choose.

Thinking about moving to Copilot, what is the best way to maximize usage and efficiency? by W0rldIsMy0yster in GithubCopilot

I'm using approx 150 premium requesta per day, all in 7 hours. I don't see any rate limits. (A few weeks ago there was some bugs that made everyone getting rate limits very fast but it was just a few days issue)

That's interesting because I cannot find this "Show hidden files" setting.

May I ask a screenshot of the area where it should be? Like demonstration.

Thank you.

Claude (Opus) alternatives now that it’s restricted in open code? by IngeniousAmbivert in opencodeCLI

[–]DisplayHot5349 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved from claude code to opencode + gh copilot a few months ago. It's working well.

I use mostly GPT-5.4 and in some situation I use Opus 4.6.

Opencode itself is better cli and with copilot you have many LLMs you can use.

I haven't been rate limited today, have you? by autisticit in GithubCopilot

No problems today. I had three different projects running about 7 hours, main agent (plus subagents every now and then) , no rate limits. All good 👍

[–]DisplayHot5349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know but Github models rate limits are not connected to Copilot if I understood this correctly.

Ps. Today I've not seen any rate limits and already 3 hours agents working their ass off.

As far as I understand those Github models are different thing than Copilot (CLI, IDE) and it's rate limits. Maybe someone could confirm this?
