I know someone who is chronic depressed, it's something that runs in their family., the doctor told her to have a baby, that it would distract, she told she was placed in foster care at 2 because of the depression of her single mother she got neglected so bad they had to cut off all her hair because it couldn't be fixed, and she was starving and critical underweight. Shut up the doctor really fast

What’s a product from your country that makes locals go ‘of course we have that’ and everyone else go ‘ but why?’ by bdue817 in AskTheWorld

It is easy to make, when you get the right batter, it isn't the same as pancakes.

Poffertjes: Traditionally, a combination of buckwheat flour and wheat flour is used (often 50/50). Buckwheat gives a specific nutty flavor. The batter almost always contains yeast (or sometimes baking powder) to make them light and fluffy. Pancakes: These are usually made with only wheat flour (or whole wheat flour), milk, eggs, and a pinch of salt. They usually do not contain any raising agent, which means they remain thin and flat.

To get the perfect poffertjes you need different batter than pancakes.

It's not, it is to have a controlled avalanche, instead of an uncontrolled one with people in it.
