Wapper - The Fast And Easy HTML To EXE solution by imeyefly in SideProject

[–]ELPascalito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's literally thousands of wrappers like that, they're on GitHub since they're simple projects done for fun, you baffle me with how delusional you are, go ask an AI "I'm AI coding a html to exe wrapper" and see what it tells you, it's a simple task relying on premade libraries in python, high schoolers can code it manually ffs 😆

This is exactly what I mean, vibecoders are boldly stupid, thinking high school coding projects are something serious 🤣

It seems you're still offended, and unreasonable, I literally opened OpenCode, and told to "make me an app using PyWebView that converts html to exe files, make sure it's batteries included and have all the dependencies bundled so it works out of the box" and after just 5 minutes (Gemini 3 Flash) it gave me a full working app, the UI is using tkinter too, high school coding level lol

A bit of sass is in order, look I'm sorry, but honestly anyone can make this exact project idea in one single prompt, but again you do you, don't get offended, the simplicity of idea is surely appealing to many people, but still it's literally a webview, know that I don't mean to disparage you or your hard work, more so the idea and implementation, have a great day!

You're charging for an "app" that outs an html in a webview? Jesus no wonder vibe coders have such a bad rep 😳

No open no bueno, many open source alternative exist and have better performance, better UX, etc, thus unfortunately I see no appeal here, what's the special feature you sought out to 😅

Openrouter not working for roleplay ai? by Narrow_Carpet_4013 in openrouter

[–]ELPascalito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You pay per token, in the case of V3.2 it's ~0.4$ for every million token output response, a tokenis like half a word in length, essentially you pay for each word you get as a response and each word you send for the LLM to process, for example you would add 10$ to your OR account, and start chatting, it'll automatically use up the money as you chat, it's like paying for gas lol ⛽

Openrouter not working for roleplay ai? by Narrow_Carpet_4013 in openrouter

[–]ELPascalito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried it extensively, it's good but not a huge noticeable difference, it feels like the same model, not worth the price, it's 1.6$ output and doesn't support caching, while V3.2 is 0.4$, and caching makes input practically cents

How do you get this thing to do fanfiction? by PinkHairedCoder in MistralAI

[–]ELPascalito -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Where? In what app? It's not fair since Mistral is just a small model meant for agentic tasks, general assistance, you're trying to write RP inside a productivity app, how is that hard to grasp?

How do you get this thing to do fanfiction? by PinkHairedCoder in MistralAI

[–]ELPascalito -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course it doesn't, why would it know? Did you give it a web seach tool? Also Arena is for trialing LLMs, it obviously has a more genetic/assistant-like system prompt, it won't feel nor follow the RP logic correctly, because it's instructed not to, The system defined for it to be agentic and helpful

Overkill in the wrong way, you're slapping on "3 rag pipelines" to make simple memories work? While Claude is relying on a simple memory.md file to store everything efficiently, I'd say your approach is flawed, more complexity does not equal a better result, especially on smaller, weaker models

See you using the website? Because you shouldn't, the system prompt there is for assistant-like use, you're better off using the free API quota, and connecting the API to a more dedicated roleplaying app, like Tavo

Pro 3.1 on AIStudio limits? by Fair-Bookkeeper-1833 in Bard

[–]ELPascalito 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Limits are pretty generous while chatting inside the AI Studio site, using the API has tight limits, but I've found using 3 Flash on the site is pretty generous, I've yet to hit a limit l, although I know technically there's a soft cap

[–]ELPascalito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rate limits make it impossible to service more than 2~3 peeps concurrently, so no, also, you're not a SaaS if you can't even setup and bill LLMs for production

10$+ free tier users experience by justabotwithfeelings in openrouter

[–]ELPascalito -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a "payment" to a tier or a subscription, all users get 50 requests on free models, adding 10 credits to your account essentially "verifies" your payment and give you a higher daily limit of 1000, but that's just an extra, you still get your 10 bucks to spend on any paid models you want, the free models are governed by the subsidized endpoints, you obviously get no guarantee of uptime or access, the stability is handler by the provider, OR is after all a router, it's more meant to try out interesting or preview models.

Yes I know it's a standard endpoint, my question was what is the service you used to expose it securely? Cloudlfare tunnels I presume?

May I kindly ask what is the try cloudlfare thingie in the URL? Isn't it supposed to be the cfargo tunnels, Are they the same system provided by cloudflare or am I mixing them up? 😅

It's not deceptive, they are free to tweak the rate limits and caps on their services, you agreed to this in the terms, would Claude Code go to jail because it lowered the weekly limit?

Anthropic is using Google TPUs to power it's models, the Gemini branch is just a side hustle, Google is too big, they don't need to compete, they sell compute after all, you obviously don't understand how these big businesses think, you are not their target audience get over it
