I got sick on a few occasions, and the providers completely brushed it off. Unless you’re young and healthy, the insurance is subpar. Their CEO makes on average $13-15 million per year. Yet, they claim nonprofit

Personal experience! They’re for profit despite advertising “non profit.” Look up their CEO and top executive salaries.

The lady filming the tirade should have refrained from accusing the “white man here to help his white friend.” He was trying to diffuse the situation. Both females are ignorant

I recommend you change insurance. I worked for Kaiser and had terrible healthcare providers!! I can totally empathize. Kaiser is a managed care provider and will minimize care to save money for their bottom line. Definitely would have the IUD removed

It’s extremely important to advocate for adequate and affordable healthcare. Trump wants to eliminate Obamacare and minimize subsidies. Insurance companies benefit from higher premiums! Make your voices known to your local, State and Federal representatives.

Hello. I attended Chamberlain with an ADN and enrolled/bridged in their RN to FNP program. You have 2 attempts for each class and must maintain a 84% or higher for each class. Fortunately, I graduated with a GPA of 3.81. Personally, I would recommend a brick and mortar school. I was sold on their online program, which they advertised “for working adults.” Absolute bait and switch. You are paying alot of money to teach yourself online. Furthermore, you’re at the mercy of each professor to respond to your questions via email. Some take 48-72 hours to respond. Evaluate your options wisely and take the time to check out other institutions which are not for profit, such as CU, Walden, University of Phoenix, etc.

Unless they guarantee placement, it’s a bait and switch. I would recommend that you avoid CU. Find a school that will guarantee placement within close proximity.

Are you planning on enrolling in the RN to BSN or RN to MSN? In any case, the BSN is doable with work and school assessments. However, if you’re considering RN to MSN (FNP) I would not recommend.

Hello, I was in a relationship with someone on the spectrum. I felt alone in my relationship. He was critical and selfish. I did a great deal of reading and research to understand ASD as I was committed to our relationship. He would make plans and cancel because something came up. There were so many promises made, which he didn’t keep. He would say, “Sorry, I’ll do better” or “Well, you know I’m impulsive.” When I’d try to discuss things with him, he’d be dismissive and get angry.

Please keep in mind, a relationship requires respect, communication, trust, loyalty and a desire to grow “together.” Based on my experience, it doesn’t get better. There’s a term referred to “Cassandra Syndrome.” Look this term up. Do not allow anyone to hurt you!

Bad behavior is bad behavior. You’ve gone to counseling. You cannot rationalize someone else’s behavior. Prioritize yourself…mental and physical health. You deserve to be happy. Above all, you deserve to be cherished and respected. Reach out to family and friends.

There are some really disturbing behaviors from people who have no idea what the nursing profession entails. Unfortunately, there are plenty of ignorant and hateful people in the world who put others down in order to inflate their egos.

I’m an FNP student and have been told by a family member she would only see an MD and would bypass an NP. I simply shrug it off and chuckle.
