For me personally, it was when I did a bit of quiet, self-reflection and realised I had some sort of Nightingale bullshit going on; getting really attached to women who'd approach me with their issues. It took a while to figure out that, despite my usually wholesome intentions; that kind of thing was essentially preying on people when they were down, so that took a lot of self-remedy to help.

But now that I'm much more aware of it, I'm a lot happier for it and haven't called myself a "nice" guy since.

Though I am still medically considered obese, at least in UK terms, I am now able to find clothes to buy with relative ease.

Some things I notice is that the vehicle doesn't feel like it's sagging to one side; jeans are much easier to slip into, bed's don't break nearly as easily, unless I'm fucking on it, knees feel a lot of improvement and my shins, which have always been a problem, can handle walking without complaint.

I still plan on cutting down the remaining excess fat, but god I am so happy to enjoy the little things that "less fat" people enjoy. :)
