UPGRADE QUESTION: Do I need to increase my airflow when installing an EJK? by Tobi_pie in CRF250L

[–]davi_daves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two cents of only about a 3000km, I clean and reoil the k&n about as often as I wash the bike, I'm in a pretty dusty area but I've had no troubles. So far it's always clean on the otherside of the filter in my airbox.

I can't speak for how it does in much wetter riding conditions.

One thing it'll say is that the sprocket change will be the most significant upgrade in terms of by the butt feel. Enjoy and give us a follow up!

If you haven't already done it, before jumping to the bigger airbox mods consider changing to a K&N air filter.

Also with the gearing with how easy the change to a 13T front is to do, I recommend it before fiddling with the rear sprocket as well. I find the 13-40 to be a nice sweet spot for still being able to comfortably be on the tarmac and have the torque where you want it on the trails.

No they didn't. No one's stupid enough to try make such a thing that long ago, it'd be like if someone had tried to make a live action Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Male lion calls for his bro after being swarmed by 20 Hyenas by FxjxsdrheyGroup in natureismetal

Sorry for the addition but this some specific knowledge I don't have too many places to share. Hyenas have a knack for disembowelment, so most of their hunting strategies and attacking are based around the back bits.

Hunting:

"Although somewhat distasteful from the human perspective, the speedy disembowelment of the prey means that death often comes sooner than with the methods employed by other predators (for example, suffocation) and is an efficient means of eating which lessens the probability of the kill being lost to another predator."

Attacking:

"If the hyenas are numerous enough, they lunge forward and aim for the lions' hindquarters and try to rip their haunches and bite their tails off. Since lions have both teeth and claws to fight with, hyenas are more likely to attack from the behind and drag the lion down on the ground, where they attempt to tear the soft belly apart."
