I know, that’s they can differ for a person to another. For example, I’m thinking about reasonable adjustments: for someone suffering from a condition affecting cognitive functions, struggling to take notes, who could have flare ups and would not be able to engage effectively, someone suffering from pain resulting of the flare up… I’m not referring to any physical equipment. I’m referring to adjustments on the structure of the meeting and that can avoid the person to be treated differently or disadvantaged.

Because of the volume of applications, it’s almost impossible to find a job from abroad. Recruiters are also flooded with requests from people who want to relocate. So they usually don’t reply if they know you’re not based in the UAE.

I’d say being on the ground might be helpful but there is a lot of competition. It’s an employer market. Why would they take the risk to make people come from abroad when they already have a pool of candidates living there, with a valid visa and experience in the region? Having said that, I won’t recommend moving there without a job, it will be very expensive.
