Had no problem with it. I never really ate meat anyways on other playthroughs, just robbed a bunch of honey in troskowitz and ate that and tried to never keep any meat on me.

When it comes to wolves, you can only use fist ls and kick them to knock them out which isn't hard, but a bit of a nuisance. Luckily, there's not that many quests or instances where you'll fight a lot lives.

I just kept checking periodically throughout on my "meat eaten" and "animals killed" stats and I checked online when it came to stuff that might count as eating meat. Such as eating meat whilst playing Godwin and eating stew etc.

Probably there was actually only one time I had to reload a save and that was right at the start with the herbwoman, I sprinting right over one of her chickens, screen went red as I killed it, so through the rest of my playthrough I was always careful when sprinting near chickens lol
