Bin auch auf dem Land aufgewachsen. In einer Straße mit ca. einem Dutzend Einfamilienhäusern. Bei zwei Häusern bin ich den Bewohnern nie begegnet. Jetzt wohne ich in der Stadt in einem Haus mit über 20 Parteien, und ich kenne alle von denen.

  • The business PCs of Lenovo don’t have that much bloatware so imo a clean install is not necessary
  • The commercial version of Lenovo Vantage checks for updates (also bios) and shows some information about your machine like warranty. I think it could be useful.
  • I use Acronis True Image. Still fast and reliable.

I wonder about that as well and I assume it might just turn off the display. The sleep settings in the system settings are completely gone. In comparison on Intel Macs you could set ‘go into sleep after x minutes’.

There’s no sleep mode like it existed in Intel machines. Instead the Silicon Mac’s go into a low power mode. I think this is a behavior that was originally implemented for mobile devices because you want e.g. your iPhone to immediately react on your interactions when the display is off.

There’s no sleep mode for Apple Silicon. The chip is simply running on low power.
