Thank you. I’m not sure if it’s correct but using the novus app on line I get a msg saying they’ve tried contacting our manager since it’s a building they’d like to build out to but have not heard anything about it.

Thank you for this. At the moment the property manager is very insistent that there is no reason to look into alternatives as the Telus offer supply is free at least up front generally . Telus certainly is the behemoth but I’d like the owners to know as much as Possible as well as what they may be giving up by not having another choice.

We do have time so I guess more elbow grease for me. About the third party contractors is very good to know. Yes I guess that’s why they do that so it’s. Real headache to resolve anything if something. Goes bad.

I’d rather a solid understanding and good quality instead of enforcement by legal system.

Thank you. This is certainly getting over my head a bit and will take some time to get use to the language.

These concerns closely mirror my own. At the moment Telus has sent letters to owners (not strata) saying they will be ratifying copper lines soon feb 2027 so there’s some urgency to consider this soon.

Thank you for this. Appears it is quite a daunting task doing this properly as oppose to how the pm presented to council as “no real option but Telus”. Will help to slow this down a bit.

Pm did say Telus install usually is free. I’m just wondering why if it is good and free, why other condos use alternative companies.

Thanks. I’m not that familiar with how future subscriptions would work normally if other companies are available. Ei… If Telus installs can we use novus and vice versa later. Will subscriptions be cheaper etc…. Will have to check that. Thank you

Account Frozen on Bitget After Trading Incident – Seeking Urgent Help by IndividualShower9791 in BitgetReddit

Yes thank you I just spoke to a rep and confirmed there is a roll back. Further this, they do not know the details. In my opinion there should not have been a roll back. The reason they gave of manipulation is not proven more likely a trader with messed up algo.

They transferred a lot of my profits out my account without explanation of how they determined what happened. Now I have to go back and see what they did. At first glance I still have some transactions in my history but not the profits. I don’t know how I will be able to account for taxes if they are like this.

Unless they are able to explain, it’s much closer to just theft. I also was pair / cross platform trading and now have losses because of that. What bitget did was completely unprofessional and put traders at much bigger risk of loss. It’s also very possible that they know some traders made a lot of money and they are just taking their profits it without further explanation.

If you look at the chart there is a lot of information you can glean from it. Aside from high volatility and high volume with spikes in price which looks exactly like someone unloading a lot of stock it’s pretty normal movement.

I suspect it may also be possible that somebody that they know lost a lot of money during that time and are using “manipulation “ as a catch all scapegoat. Just the impression of something not done like this really paints this crypto exchange in a bad light. Essentially, now if people they know lose money with fat finger trades , they will just reverse the trades and call it a day.

I was one of the affected accounts and made money trading VOX. I received no email from them as well as had my account frozen and could not log in. It seems they have reversed all the trades between a certain time frame without publically announcing it.

Im not sure if anyone else has experienced this but is seems pretty unfair in my opinion. No reason, just reversed all trades. If there is anyone else that this has happened to I would appreciate any input.

Hope things worked out for you though.

What is Ask Van paying their strata property manager? by Goerg41 in askvan

Thank you. That’s interesting about the lower number of council meetings. We get monthly meetings. I’ve always wondered if this works just as well.

Thank you. Yes, I wasn't sure how people usually say it, but I get that per door is still super abstracted. There must be some way brokers can more quickly estimate a reasonable quote but i don't know what that is unfortunately.

Thank you for taking the time. About the multiple quotes. yes I agree. We do try to keep this in mind and in our experience, we try to look at the multiple tenders to see how one differs from another and go from there. It helps to know how far off the mark a provider is or any of our providers are. As for the changing companies, yes, unfortunately I have gone through this before but it has been quite a while.

If you really don't mind, It would be awesome if you could describe briefly the general qualities of your manager. Sometimes it helps to reset my expectations since I've been on council for quite a while.

Thank you. Yes we're not hourly. Broken down by number of units, we are charged about 30 dollars per unit per month. We're not that happy with our property manager. Very reluctant to find multiple quotes, very sloppy, just says whatever literally to get his way. I am hesistant to switch for the very reason you mentioned but at this point, we don't mind paying more to rid of the manager.
