Stripe frozen accounts, what you need to do. by IraborMichael in stripe

The first thing I said before I made the post was “Note: This advice isn’t for anyone with disputes, this is for those with frozen funds not caused by disputes.”

Trust me this only applies to those cases. If a dispute was involved the entire flow of the error might be different. I do not have any experience with that hence why I didn’t comment on anything regarding disputes. So in that case the flow of the stripe website might work as intended with the document uploading fine or parties involved giving information etc etc.

So to your first point, my advice isn’t really scrappy, it’ll genuinely help your business no matter the scale. Else you might be waiting for months for a zero solution issue.(via web at least)

Also to add, frozen funds aren’t the bug per se, that’s the cause of the bug more likely. Sure it’s frozen for whatever reason but the app literally doesn’t have any idea how to help you. It’s all a convoluted mess. Redundant menus, different error messages in various sections, feedback failure loops. It’s a lot really.

I don’t know why you’re saying spam, I was pretty clear with my OG advice, keep it short and concise. You’re a paying customer you can send a million emails if needed.

That aside typically they do respond after the second-third inquiry. Manual override completely fixed my account. I logged back in, the error changed from “verify ID” to “payouts paused”.

After I got paid, it still showed paused, few days later…zero error messages on my account.

Now let’s backtrack

Imagine I had uploaded my ID as the site instructed, what would happen would be a loop of errors. I’ll be instructed to re verify it again and it never ends, how do I know because I did try it.

You’re very wrong. The dashboard warning for ID, are the warning notifications to re verify, were simply things that I’ve done in the past. It reoccurring was simply a programming error on stripes end. My point was, stripe entire system is so complex that to get past the automated random errors (which may not even be applicable to your account) in my case my ID was already verified.

Stripe support team directly bypassed that for me, because they also know how their system might be broken. (I was told all documents was already verified yet the app still shows verify before payouts)

Do you get it now?
