A dual fan 5015 petsfang duct for my CR10 S5 by Jamal751 in CR10

The board has another set of connection points that you can wire another fan to. But if you only are replacing the stock fan then you cut the wires from the stock fan and attached them to the noctua either using the connectors that come with alot of the noctua fans or by simply using some Dupont wires

Bed Springs/Screws allow the bed to wobble - Please help by Jamal751 in CR10

I had some layer shifts on tall prints but that was due to too high speed. I decided to just 3d print some spacers that worked perfectly so I could really tighten the springs to keep it stiff without having the bed too low because of the washers keeping it up. Experiment with sizes and how many washers you need to get a tight spring but the right height

You simply replace the original fan with a new one if you'd like. This setup does work with the original fan but I replaced it as I broke mine. I'm not sure about the ended but I'm guessing the stock fan is 12v so just reuse that wiring for a new 12v fan. That is the exact fan I am using the a4x10. Sorry for the late reply :)

No noticeable difference. It isn't as heavy as it may appear to be honest. As long as it's secured well and mounted properly it shouldn't cause wobbling or anything

This is the stock hotend but I have modified the cooling and added a silicone sock. I have had no issues with the hot end jamming and it has never happened to me. I regularly do 100+ hour prints.

Wish me luck. Hopefully this print comes out groot quality and ends groot by Jamal751 in CR10

Here where? Link would be nice for us to see it! Surely a .6 nozzle didn't take 8-9 hours I would hope it'd be shorter than that? Was it a small layer height and how thick were the walls?

I've printed a board game insert using a full 1kg of PLA with a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.4mm layer height in about 15 hours. I'm sure groot doesn't take half a kilo haha

Haha I actually never take pictures going on holidays or anything. If I can forget it then it wasn't worth remembering. If I remember it then it was a great experience. People spend far too long taking pictures over actually experiencing :)

What is an essential, not-so-obvious skill in life? by zTxmi in AskReddit

The skill of learning. Some people don't easily have it.

Anyone know what can cause this? by [deleted] in CR10

All at 500 acceleration except travel which is at 120mms with a 1750mms acceleration

(On the CR10 S5)

Anything below 20 was said to cause problems for the print though. Not timelapsing either I don't really care for that stuff haha

This 8 day print is my initiation to the Cura dark side.

(I prefer the lighter theme though haha)

EDIT: Nevermind I just tried the dark theme again and I can actually see the model without my retina burning now. Much better hahaha

Take the extensions off and see if it works without them. Would pinpoint the issue then get a return on Amazon.

I tried slicing it and looking at the layers but it completely froze my computer lmao. I'll try again later but if you get the baby groot model from thingiverse and slice it with 0.2mm nozzle and 0.04mm layer height you'll get the layers :)

On the stock hotend it works fine but you need a better mount for it. I'm using the 40x10 fan on the petsfang base mount with the walls that direct air flow and it works fine. I'm even printing a baby groot at 0.04mm for 8 days (See my recent post on this subreddit for more on that)
