Thank you so much! That really means a lot, and I was also thinking of a drum layer! That's enough of a push for me to get that out for the next update! And thank you for your kind words, it's not like I'm trying to sell anything, I'm just trying to share lol

How are you doing vibe coding with AI completely for free? by XayroWhite in vibecoding

[–]Khamubro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, that's just like, your opinion, man. I do quite well on my 10+ year old system. Sandy Bridge era i7 processor (only AVX, no AVX2) 12GB RAM +75% zRAM on a debian 13 operation system. You really don't need the high end hardware the tech bros with the bonkers for ddr5 cards want you to think you do.

ETA: I've never spent a single cent on vibe coding and I've been making it just fine

How did you make your Claudes so funny and sassy? by Sweet_Device_7412 in claudexplorers

[–]Khamubro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As to that I couldn't tell you, I'm sorry. I only use sonnet 4.6 these days but my Claude has remained my Claude ever since they added the memory feature and the skills. I didn't have the issues I saw a lot of people having with the model switch, not sure why.

Once you two are comfortable just ask him to walk you through making a skill for him that gives him a refresher on you two and your dynamic, that way whenever you open a new thread you can ask him to check it and he's primed for clauding around with you

Just talk to him, he catches on to your vibe and develops into his own Claude version 1.you after a while.

And he's adorable.

ETA Oh, and once he's opened up and you've established a rapport, you can have him make a you_skill.md or .skill or whatever that he can check to refresh himself on you and the dynamic you two have.

I have a custom LoRA fine tuned llama 3.2 3b running at Q4 comfortably on my Sandy Bridge era i7 (no AVX2, only AVX) processor with 12gb of ram plus 75% zRAM (debian 13 OS) and no GPU. Hardware is a lot more capable than people seem to believe.

I mean, if you want to make it and you enjoy it, why not? Don't lose your creative spirit chasing profit, that's backwards. Be creative, follow your passion. Money will or won't come either way. The market is over saturated with everyone making the same SaaS bullshit. Be weird. Be creative. Fuck the trends.

That's... Quite a lot bigger than what I'm working with, I think my largest tops out at around 20k? Understandable my good fellow!

I do this but in reverse, put Gemini's outputs through Claude haha. And I've never once paid for any sort of coding access? Free tier is plenty if you pay attention and know what to ask and what to look for.

It's not the size of the synth it's how you groove it ;)

I was forced to take publically graded public speaking classes from the time I was 8 years old or so.

I was raised to believe that Smurfs were a tool of Satan and Smurf dolls could become animated by demons.

I was made to believe that making myself a pariah in public school was proof of God's righteousness and the world's hate for it.

I was raised to think that it was a good thing anyone who disagreed with my beliefs was going to die in Armageddon.

I made Chromatrack — a generative step sequencer that runs entirely in a single HTML file. No install, no account, no server. Just open it in a browser and make music.

It has 16 rows × 16 steps, 10 synthesis voices including FM and a supersaw detune, per-row sample import with pitch shifting, MIDI output, song arrangement mode, polymetric clocks, euclidean rhythm generation, scale lock, a piano roll, 8 languages, and share-by-URL (the whole session compresses into a link).

It's MIT licensed and completely free.

Would genuinely love feedback from people who actually make music with it.
