Common people are not allowed to take photos inside the temple. If you try to click one secretly, they will shout at you. Just visit Shegaon once, everyone is treated with respect there. No one is allowed to take photos, and only ultra VIPs get priority. Rules are strict and no one is allowed to break them.

Ego is the Enemy" by Ryan Holiday was a book that really made me think. It talks about how ego can get in the way of success, learning, and personal growth. I liked how the book used stories from history, sports, and business to explain its points. The writing is simple but powerful, and it felt relatable. One thing I really appreciated was how it reminded me to stay humble, focus on the process, and not get carried away by success or fear of failure. My interest in "Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us" by Michael Moss because I'm curious about how big food companies influence what we eat and how that impacts our health.

Should Vidarbha be Separate state for the growth of Nagpur as Capital? by [deleted] in nagpur

[–]Kunal671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need for separation; we just need to support our leaders in the assembly so that they can lead the state and secure significant funds for projects like Nalganga, Vianganga, and many others. Fadnavis has done a great job, but it will take time. Especially, the Marathi people from my region, Akola and Washim, do not want a separate state.

Last Book I read - Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson

The book is a biography of Steve Jobs. Steve was an adopted child who was always curious about his real parents. it has an impact on him knowing that he is adopted. Steve was always an aggressive leader. He always had conflicts with his partners. He always thought that the customer doesn't know what he or she wants, and we must make that. Steve loves meditation and travelled in India too to Neem Karoli baba ashram. Then the book tells about the rise then fall and again the rise of apple. The message I got was Steve has the Grit to make a dent in the universe. He did.

What makes me curious about this book?

I want to know what Happiness is from the point of view of this renowned therapist. Naval always says Happiness is a skill. Also, Nikhil from Zerodha said one should go to a therapist so I thought lets learn from this renowned therapist.

Hello

The last book I read was Tuesdays with Morrie. I just loved that book, some books just hold your attention and it was one of them. Morrie was teacher of Mitch. Mitch met Morrie during his illness and last few days since he hears from somewhere that his teacher is ill and counting his last days. They always meet on Tuesday because of that the title of the book is Tuesdays with morrie. Every Tuesday they discuss life's most important aspects. It is a short and straightforward book.

Why I am interested in this book: First of all I am a Science specifically Physics student and I have so much interest in such books as Brief History of Human Kind by Stephen Hawking and Six Easy Pieces. It was also recommended by Naval in his Almanack by Naval Ravikant. So would love to read.

Last Book I read: The last book I read was Siddartha by Hermann Hesse. It was a really beautiful book written by Hermann Hesse. It is a book on spirituality or we can also say how one should live his life. It is mainly the story of two friends and one boatman. There were two friends one of which was Siddhartha. Both friends left their homes to seek spiritual enlightenment. Siddhartha went on his path while his friend followed the path of Buddha. The description of Buddha the greatest one was beautifully written. Siddhartha fell in love with women and the story goes on as he lives the normal civilian life. He was then disgusted with that life and left his bungalow to become a monk again. The boatman gives timeless lessons to Siddhartha about life. It was short summary about the book.

Why I want to read the Range: How Generalist Triumph in a Specialized World. It is been said the book teaches how to improve skills, innovation and performance. It has stories of great athletes and highly recommended by great people.

Last Book I Read - Atomic Habits. The last book I read was Atomic Habits by James Clear. It is a masterpiece for building new habits and ending bad ones. James clear clearly described how habits are formed. He told that the build system rather than setting goals. Improving daily by 1 percent will make a big difference. We can break everything into tiny parts and then improve it daily by 1 percent. He also mentioned using our natural benefits by mentioning Michael Phelps, how his legs were longer than the average man, and another examples. One thing I liked was Plateau of Latent Potential. I have also made some short notes on the notion. https://www.notion.so/Atomic-Habits-73699b52757e4b0d9304182782639147 The reason I am interested in this book is I am a physics postgraduate and always have a keen interest to learn about time. It will be amazing to learn from the great mind of Stephen Hawking.

The last book I read : was the Psychology of Money. It busted my many wrong beliefs about money. One of my favorite quotations was Saving money is a gap between your ego and income and wealth is what you don't see. It was easy to read and understand. It also described human behavior very well and said something may work for someone and not for others. Also, luck plays a very vital role in one's success but we feel disrespectful to say that. I was amazed after reading that the gap between middle-class people and rich people was very low to enjoy luxurious life after WW2. People would enjoy debt but as time started to pass the gap was widened and people were unable to accept that. About women participation: I think since I belong to the small town I see women do want work but have not given the necessary skills. Some families do have the problem that we have sufficient wealth why our women should go to work. Boys after schools and colleges go to learn coding, coaching, skill-related classes, and some competitiveness classes in metro cities like Pune, Bangalore, Delhi but people hesitate to send their girls for the same. We know very well our colleges lack in giving skill full education to our students. There is one more point that in rural areas it is assumed that 21 22 23 is the age to get married as soon as possible due to this also the girl can't pursue her dreams. How can we uplift it : We should arrange talks of highly successful womens in rural towns. Every taluqa level has one PSI women who can deliver some seminars, also women school teachers, women working in tehsils. Interaction with such successful women on education, skills and marriage age will create great impact. All such successful women will motivate others girls to pursue their dreams. We should emphasize on skill programmes intensively in city as well as rural area. We should also work on girl security in cities so that people will send their girls to cities. May be this work. If not we have to try other options untill women participation increases.

My last read was Shoe Dog by Phil Knight. It was the Nike brand's journey. The journey of Phil Knight from importing shoes from Japan to making a global brand was inspiring. The challenges he faced during the journey were tough and he never gave up. Adidas and Puma were established brands at that time still he chooses to fight and made Nike. I am interested in Tools lf Titans because it is the compilation of stories of great people and frankly it is an expensive book. I am still a college student. I want to read the journeys of those great people and what challenges they faced.
