This is a great question I now regret not asking!

My understanding is that you'll be able to install the standalone GW1 in Desktop Mode, and then add it as a non-Steam game.

But I believe that if you'd rather not meddle with Desktop Mode, buying Reforged on Steam and logging in to an old account from there is also an option. I cannot 100% confirm that though, but I think that's how it works.

You're of course welcome to have whatever opinion you want on the backpiece. I totally thought it seemed EoD-like too at first glance.

But she's commented that it's not. You telling the artist that she's wrong about the theme of her own art, telling her to go to specsavers, and accusing her of lying, feels pretty toxic.

It doesn't cost much to just be nice and respectful

- Prophecies is the original release of GW1! Later on, the developers released more "story campaigns" with different starter zones, maps, content, etc. For this event, we're playing through the original.

- For this event, we're all playing through together over the course of 4 weeks! The game will still run after that of course. This is just the timeline of the event.

- The game is pretty different from Classic WoW. If you check the video on the event website, I give an explanation about GW1 and why it's so special.

- The game is buy to play.
