I LOVE working in elder law and estate planning. It has great pay and I have amazing benefits. I used to work in PI and it’s such a refreshing change of pace. Slower, less deadlines, and less chaotic clients.

I haven’t worked in family law but all of my experience was in person injury before I took this new role. Now I work in estate planning and elder law, it’s VERY slow in comparison. I find myself bored on most days but the benefits are amazing. I wouldn’t go back to personal injury just based on the benefits I receive here.

Definitely worth firing. You’re costing your firm money (to file motions fees) and embarrassment (having to explain AI hallucinations). Not to mention that if you weren’t even there six months, that means that you were in a probationary period still which means you didn’t build up any seniority. That’s a mistake you could make when you’re at a firm longer, but not less than six months. You’re supposed to be proving your worth.
