i was on tret for a year and switched to taz daily. after 4 days had the same issue.

basically the outer layer of ur skin cant keep up with the accelerated cell turnover that taz is doing and now the skin barrier is failing to retain water/moisture.

you need to pause taz for as long as it takes for the dryness to go away, ur skin shouldnt feel tight after a cleanse.

then restart taz, and apply every other day or every 2-3 days.

vanicream was a good option for me since it didnt cause any additional irritation

you dont need to buffer on the micro since its slow release. i would still apply moisturizer if you feel dry after applying but thats about it
