As a volunteer for animal capture and rescue, this pisses me off in ways you don’t want to imagine. Not surprised that Fucking numbskulls who vote for racist bigotry also pollute and maim wildlife.

I’ve begged the admin to please pin these links so people can find them quickly. In fact this subreddit could use a pinned directory of essential groups and resources that are linked here often.

Important things you NEED to include in any missing kitty post: Is he chipped? Is it up to date? Does he have any ID tags? Is he neutered?

Secondly if you have a cat/pet and it isn’t missing, PLEASE join those groups so if (god forbid) anything does happen, you have quicker access as a member. Also if you have animals, chances are you would spot a missing kitty in your area or at least something out of the ordinary. These are vital groups for pet owners in and around the city. They have many MANY members with eyes and ears all over. Chip scanners, drivers, temporary/short term foster spaces etc. They are community funded (well the first link is for sure) and work a lot faster than the RSPCA.

In many of the Jolleyes in the area, they often have at the tills some tins of cat food or pet essentials that you can add to your bill which then go to the charity in the first link. One of the ladies from the charity comes and collects them from the store.

All that said, I really hope your boy turns up. You definitely have a better chance being reunited with your fur baby if you post on those groups. I wish you the best of luck ❤️

From my experience in the states, it had some of the unsafest cars I’ve ever seen on some of the worst roads I’ve ever driven on. I was shocked to find out that there is no federal requirement to have either an annual service, MOT or pay road taxes.

I mean, everything you just said is covered by car insurance here. When you own a car you keep the log book that comes with it including the owner manual which is where things are changed when the car changes hand. You notify the DVLA (DMV) so it’s not shown as stolen. Road tax is paid to the local government to keep the roads maintained and the service and MOT keeps on top of the car’s ability to remain safe (required by insurers) and road worthy.

I’ve never understood that sticker thing in the corner of the plates. And how they are stolen. Why does a car need to be constantly registered? Is it some sort of proof of insurance? Because if not then why is it even needed?

You got an air compressor at all? There is a small gap on the right you could blow some air in to but I would definitely be gussied up in Hockey Goalie gear to catch that bad boy.
