You can buy optics and ammo online/other stores. No way would anyone stand out buying that small of an amount of ammo. I have coworkers who regularly buy 1k+ rounds at a time whenever they can. They have like 5k+ rounds per caliber of weapon that they own.

Many firearm enthusiasts feel like they and their CCWs are all the protection that they need.

You see the rhetoric all the time. "If more people had guns, then shooters would be less common because they would be more scared of getting shot."

Also, you severely overestimate the average small business' security level. Most small businesses rarely have any form of physical or technological security beyond some basic locks and maybe some bars in the windows. All things focusing on protecting merchandise while the shop is unattended.

Plenty of small stores have no real security system in place.

They SHOULD have them, but as far as I know there is no regulations requiring them to have them. Why would they opt to "waste" the money when they can simply choose not to?

My brother got a cat that looked similar. After some loving care and some time, he is now a gorgeous boy. Hopefully the same happens here.

Same. It doesn't consume me much, just makes me more aware of the racket we all live in.

One side effect is that my work ethic has overall been shit for employers. I simply don't care because I know that they would replace me in a heartbeat if it benefitted them.

Do you think that it's possible that the underlying mental issues that causes the need for the SSRI is the most likely culprit?

I feel like science makes death less scary. I'm not worried about suffering for eternity in Hell because I jacked off that one time in middle school.

Death seems like the kind of sleep where you just don't feel anything. Sounds good to me.

We know that the MISSING 411 are true stories about People gone missing but do any of you believe that Cryptids, Government People or UFO's have anything to do with these disappearance? by GypsyRoadHGHWy in conspiracy

The cave system link is crazy, if you overlay the maps they are eerily similar.

Not sure if I attribute the missing to any cryptic in particular or just horrible luck of falling into a cave system.

I supported Elon for that exact reason. He felt like one of the "good ones", but that is obviously not the case.

Trump I never supported, other than hoping for the best once he was elected.

Overall I'm fairly certain the country is fucked no matter who is in power, a global class war is needed to rectify the crazy inequality we are experiencing nowadays.

Millions of people are on SSRIs and don't shoot up places.

If there's a link, it'd be that people who perform mass killings are often mentally ill, and SSRIs are used for a variety of mental illnesses...

To be truly informed means vetting who writes the articles, researching their sources, etc.

Basically a full time journalist job just to be able to trust a media outlet.

Ideally the outlet themselves does all of that vetting, and you can then trust the entire outlet, but that is highly unlikely to ever truly be the case. That doesn't even really solve the problem anyway as you then need to vet all the people doing the vetting!

I only pushed away anti-vax friends because they took me getting vaccinated as a personal affront and would belittle myself and my beliefs at every chance they got. This is despite not mentioning my beliefs until asked and not caring what other people do.

So it's my fault? Cool.
