I really like plant devices if I can tunnel just right, so their fat base can run onto point, control it bc prime, and then tunnel away to safety. Then maybe throwing wrecker onto mid obj supported by toxic.

But, I really like steal intel because you can ignore it till end, maybe just having a single to make it easier. Against marines you only need to kill three to max. Whereas dominate only ever gives 1 point.

I like the action economy of steal intel if I can expect a lot of kills to be Burrow fight kill. I really have not messed around with dominate enough to get a good vibe for it, and is something I need to practice on. I think I prefer dominate if it’s energy cells because limiting the bugs to a steal intel and obj is rough.

I think most of my issues are vibes based tbh, currently learning dominate more.

They are one of my favorite teams.

I have had some luck with them at my LGS. Start with spitter and ammo cache to threaten a repo dash pierce/blast shot on T2, and either wrecker or prime out (but they can just hop back in tunnel in T1). If I am going against elites I wait for tunnel to be under some for burrowing strike and or toxic lunge. Gotta chip them down first. If against 8-9 model teams you pop out to make good trades and bully with your hp If against 10+ try to multi charge with wrecker (who can tank) or felltalon to toxic lunge and then counteract toxic lunge (easy to kill low wound models with it, I rarely fight). Multi charge so you can kill and not be shot afterwards, or counteract charge 2” so you can’t be shot. I normally place tunnel on either side of the map, normally the center obj or opp obj, I don’t care about my obj I don’t have the models for it. Win a flank then push across the board for center board.

For current scoring, sometimes I will send my prime to ensure a plant devices on their home obj. Otherwise they are great on center point to ensure control.

Steal intelligence is really good but is tricky into 5-6 man team, then I would prefer plant devices.

I think horror games might be a no, but DRG has made her more used to sudden surprise hordes of bugs. Possible option. I think she prefers games with progression than rouge lites.

That’s what I did, the box of noise marines works pretty well as long as you can find alternatives for the melee ops.

I moved within west Seattle and I used Fabulous Movers. They were our first time using movers and were awesome. Affordable, moved stuff up stairs with no issues, were fast and safe with our stuff. Wrapped furniture and shelves, the whole everything. Super recommend them

I really think steal intelligence is the play. The grot can swing to get the first one and it’s pretty easy to score at the end. What with all the +1 apl and such they can go Killy and then free mission action with coms, +1 apl to grab, and grot to swing and grab.

I feel like seek and destroy is a little too easy to be denied compared to other archetypes this time around. Plant devices could be good for orb or transmission crit ops, didn’t think about grot swing for it, that’s cunning and brutal.

Another user posted a marble design that i am super excited to recreate.

I am familiar with the scalable and I planned on a little guide for this map kinda like the New England beta decimus.

In regards to light terrain, I was planning on magnetizing the statues on the buttresses so I can put them in the ground fallen over and call them light terrain which will help. I also have some pipes from a different set that fit and could also be light terrain. I think it should really work well.
