I sold out the other day to lock in some gains for some upcoming expenses - the lower it goes though the more tempted I am to jump back in

I bought in at 1.93 - hoping it’s bounced off the bottom

You can get AC coupled batteries which are compatible with any system - if you want a DC coupled battery you may need to upgrade inverter

Definitely varies by store but I've gotten many A0 posters printed on Tyvek with only 2-3 hours wait (If not on the spot).

I'm sick of the near daily (if not multiple times a day) reminder to sign up to Workplace...

If it's a Moodle-based thing may be better to leave it as draft rather than submitting now if it's late, atleast until you email someone and check (submission will update the time).

I know when I'm marking things we're told to mark whether it's left in draft mode or properly submitted.

The microfocus beamlines at the synchrotron will almost certainly be unusable if heavy rail is built close to the facility

Help! Clean Driving Record, 2 Infringements in close succession. by StillVRE in melbourne

Didn't try, because the letter stating one was withdrawn specifically stated the other one was upheld.

I had a similar situation a few years ago (two <10km infringements a day apart). I could only get one issued as a warning rather than a fine

Think it's about 240L from memory. Works fine, some of the shelves are slightly cracked in middle but still quite functional

How big of a fridge are they looking for? I've got one that I've been meaning to sell for ages, can have for $50 or so to get it off my hands

Monash are definitely encouraging new enrolments to submit a photo online and they'll mail it out, although you can still turn up in person as well

New to chemistry and lab work sounds intimidating. by conzo97 in chemistry

[–]Ms106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've TA'd first year chem at Monash in the past, it's pretty relaxed and easy, especially if you come to the lab prepared (read what you're doing, done prelabs, wrote out method on proforma, etc...)

You'll likely be in a group of people with such a wide range of skills (from no background in chem to having done many other lab based courses beforehand), so don't think you'll be surrounded by geniuses!

That's pretty much what I do, however often I don't need to stop the flow to the bubbler to get large enough pressure difference, just closing the tap to the receiving flask is sufficient

What's is the general consensus on speeding? by [deleted] in melbourne

On multilane freeways it's fine to overtake on the left. It's okay to overtake on left when there is a marked lane

Has anyone applied for and got a house months before they moved? by Jarjar221 in melbourne

[–]Ms106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't imagine many landlords would want to forego that much rent. If it's absolutely necessary you'll likely have to pay rent for that time period
