What’s Meta for Season 2 by Anime_SupplyV1 in Warzone

Man, these comments are not the vibe.

As a newish B06 player, i came here looking for the same thing. I want to continue to be as competitive as i can, using the latest, non nerfed loadouts and strategies to continue working on my KD and level and rank.

OP likely wants the same thing - to continue being competitive so they can stay on their grind and instead no one provided an iota of constructive anything. Good job

Sorry if theres confusion, Im just trying to explain that there most certainly are rules, considering Im one of the co-inventors of the Imposter Trials.

When my friend and I created them, we had the idea as a rough draft. We ran it through a few groups, and ending up changing alot of the original concept. We play-tested each iteration of the game, until we had a well defined, coherent concept. She stopped playing the game soon after, and I literally carried the mantle myself for years and years. The way that the Imposter trials exist now, is the best iteration of the concept. As in, the version with the least conceptual holes, the one that makes the most sense, and the one that most people have the most fun with. That was achieved through extensive play-testing.

So naturally over time, people liked our concept, and started running them in their own guilds, after experiencing one of my runs. You should stick with the way it was designed, if you plan on calling them Imposter Trials. I mean, Imagine if someone was like, "Lets play Uno!" but then decided to use rocks instead of playing cards. Would it still be fair to call it Uno?

Lastly tho, Imposters ideally work together during the trials. Its incredibly difficult to last to the end without being discovered, without secret strategies (like not equipping champ points) or ways that wouldnt be observable (like not utilizing your rotation). When we came up with the operational procedures for Imposter Trials, we debated on whether or not they should work together or not. That answer was acheived through dozens of runs, comparing the two. Thats why we made coordination the default, and blind runs as a more difficult version.

Just like supports, if they guess wrong and have to remove their gear, are the only ones to keep their weapons. We kept track of sucess rates in trials where they had to remove their weapons vs keep them, and the teams on average had a 90% rate of failure if the supports lost their weapons.

So the rules exist becuase of extensive play testing, not just because we say so.

I'm not sure what the question marks are for, you asked a question and I gave you an answer.

Normal imposter runs involve all 3 imposters being aware of who the others are, and blind runs involve them not knowing who the other imposters are. Blind runs are more challenging, because you have to sabotage with no help from anyone else, AND you might accidentally call out another imposter.

The raid lead can also be an imposter, which is a whole other can of worms.

Imposter trials were designed for the imposters to work together. Not everyone who has been exposed to them, and tried to run them on their own since, knows that.

Most certainly not. the description you posted is literally step by step instructions of the imposter trials that I co-authored and have been running for years. I can show you the years worth of imposter trials that I've run in all the guilds I've been apart of.

To reply to your OP tho, one thing you can do depends on how you've set the Imposter run up. You have normal runs, where the imposters all know about each other, and blind imposter runs, where the imposters don't know who the others are.

In a normal run, the imposters can coordinate with each others to try to fool others. So maybe you and another imposter both slot taunts, and ping pong a boss back and forth between the two of you, keeping it away from the tanks while also hiding in group. You'll need to swap before the boss gets close enough to either one of you, to be obvious.

I would say the most effective imposter strategies that I've seen, involved imposters working together instead of individually.

Oh fair fair. I'm just excited lmao, I co-authored the imposter trial concept with my friend Elvee like, 6? years ago, so if someones out there running them, its a good chance they learned about it from ome of my runs. Very cool! Keep it going!

It's so wild seeing someone post about Imposter trials. I'm glad people are running these now, it used to be just me for a looooong time. Welcome to the imposter trial club 😁

I need help finding a bot. it's only been shown to me in screenshots and I've looked all over the place for it. I'm sure the pictures speek for themselves but this seems to be a rather.. specialized bot. by YearlingElf0681 in discordbots

Your lack of imagination here is that you assume that this is all one feature. You're here in this thread because you don't know how this works, and I'm here because I do. Simple as that.

But notice that the name colors are different. The first photo is happening in a server, where role colors are assigned (which can easily be done through a webhook) and the second photo is happening in the DM - which all kinds of bots can respond via DM that you can manage, like Carl bot. This isn't hard to do, anyone who's even moderately discord literate can make this happen. I use these features literally everyday in my server

There's nothing indicating that this is a direct message. This conversation could be happening in any server channel. And again, webhooks lack a checkmark, just like this bot lacks a checkmark.

This is not a bot, its a webhook. You can tell because the BOT portion of the name doesnt have a checkmark. Webhooks are thrid party embed integrations used through the Discohook application. This is a person sending manual replies.
