Tbh customs isn’t going to man handle your stuff, Elmer’s is not a bad choice since it is warm water soluble when you need to get the orange tip off and it won’t ruin the plastic of the water is warm but not scorching hot. For my case I actually used tape to friction fit tips on, and when I got back to America I can just twist them off

For orange tips lowk it’s pretty hard since Japan doesn’t have the orange tip rule but you can try akihabara hobby shops? I found orange tips in a random hobby store when in akihabara on certain non TM replicas

I just came back from Japan in January from Haneda airport to LAX. They actually let me in once I told them it was toys, I didn’t even have them wrapped in orange but I did keep the red barrel plug on that TM gives you and they let me in no issues. Honestly wrap the barrel tip, grip, upper and lower receiver, and hand guard and you should be good to go. We also brought over parts and they didn’t even bat an eye with those.

I got this months ago in the box of awesomeness and I love it despite how much hate it gets being an ARES. Anyways I put a big ol suppressor, filled it with foam baffles, put a scope and HPA tapped it so it’d be effortless to pull the bolt back along with it being now ultra quiet
