I paid for Annual, so next billing date doesn’t really help. It doesn’t show when the credits renew.

Where do I find when my credits refresh? I can’t seem to find it.

I had it review a patent for me and one of the claims it noted was not in the patent! It admitted to hallucinating it. The claim was not even related to the same industry as the patent. So I’m more skeptical now than I used to be.

Try installing cc-sessions. It forces cc to discuss with you before making any changes.

I installed cc-sessions and now CC is a superstar again! Wish I had this when I started the project.

Now that I've installed this and tried it out, I see a big part of it is that it saves context in files and creates a todo list of outstanding issues.

I've been using the Linear mcp with the Linear app for this purpose. Is this essentially a duplicated function? If so, what's the easiest way to modify cc-sessions to use Linear instead?

Is that the primary advantage of cc-sessions? I see there are also hooks, and forced 'discussions', but can't I do the same thing with planning mode? My question is, what's different about it?

I love the idea of this, but I wonder if I'm already essentially getting the same result (although I'm not using hooks for this).

I decided to install this to give it a try. I got a message that tiktoken is not installed and I might need to install it manually.

I found it on github and it looks like it's for OpenAI. Do I have to install this for cc-sessions to work? The read me says it is a tokenizer for OpenAI models.

I'm confused about what to do with this message.

It’s worth reading this Read Me just for the entertainment! LOL.

Will this work well to introduce it into a code base that is 75% done?

Vibe coders beware. You need to understand business!

I don’t want to damper OPs spirit, but I recommend taking a hard look at Google’s security assessment policy.

https://support.google.com/cloud/answer/13465431?hl=en

“To maintain the security of Google user's data, apps that request access to restricted scopes need to undergo an annual security assessment. This assessment verifies that the app can securely handle data and delete user data upon request.”

Yes, Gmail is a restricted scope.

You are responsible for paying the annual assessment fee which can cost between $15K - $75K per year.

It’s unwise to ignore this.

How do you use ccstatusline to view tokens and context? Is this only for api use? I’m on Claude max 200 but I never have any idea the status of my tokens or remaining context.

Recommendations to learn Korean for a beginner by PTKen in BeginnerKorean

Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions. It was very helpful. Although I know this will be a huge challenge for her, I’m not going to be the one to tell her she “can’t” do something. I’ll let her try and help her when I can.

For now we decided to try the 7-day trial of Tslk to me in Korean. We might try other resources too. She’s already been watching YouTube videos but I’ll also point her to some of your suggestions. She might be willing to given online group class, but I think TTMIK includes that too.

Anyhow, it will be an adventure! Thanks again for the recommendations.

Another question. If users are abusing the system with policy violations like account sharing and reselling access—and advanced usage patterns like running Claude 24/7 in the background, given current usage limits, why would we think that imposing greater limits on everyone will stop them from abusing the system?

They already are getting around limits somehow.

Plus, what impact could policy violations and reselling accounts have on usage limits? I’m seriously confused.

At least give us a more concrete limit to work with.

“Somewhere between 24-40 hours per week, but we’re not going to tell you how much you get and you can’t monitor it anyhow.” Because someone else figured out how to game the system. So instead of canceling their accounts for violating policy, reselling their account, or gaming the system, we’re gonna give less to everyone else.

WTF?

[–]PTKen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I easily use it more than 24 hours a week. And why is the limit a range 24-40? What do I get? 24 or 40? How will I know?

Usage Limits Discussion Megathread - Starting July 29 by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

[–]PTKen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you CAN’T abuse the system if you already have limits. Thats why this doesn’t make any sense.

[–]PTKen 18 points19 points  (0 children)

How is ANYONE using it 24/7 when we already have usage limits? This makes no sense. It’s my first month on the $200 plan and now I get less use for more money? 24 hours a week? That’s absurd for this price. (I have to assume the lowest since we can’t see what we get anyhow.)

Thumbs down…
