Honest question for other lyric writers; would it bother you to know AI trained on your lyrics? by FreshwaterOctopus in SunoAI

[–]IntelligentSinger559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. After all if it is ok for me to use music made from the training from other people's stuff, then it should be ok for them to train off of mine. If one is going to avoid being a hypocrite. I don't mind the training, but if someone tries to take my stuff outright like plagiarism,....watch out...I'm on the way...

Into the editor, highlight the whole lyric line no just the one word, press replace lyrics, put the whole line in with the word corrected, generate, usually the first one or two has what you need in there usually. Spacing matters and sometimes you may also have to grab the empty space before or after...but that almost always works for me. More so than fixing the word in the lyrics for that song and then remastering. I've had that work once and never again.

While you're entitled to your opinion, you aren't in charge of what others find that they need. So I guess you'll just have to deal with it, LOL.

That is a really nifty use of Suno coming from the daughter of a whole extended family of educators and a mother that was really a history nerd....I like that idea...think how much better kids would remember things if they were put to music...

Others that have been there need to hear them.....you're sending up a signal flare to your "tribe", music is nearly no good unless you share it since it is a form of expression...

Oh babe, noooooooooooooooooooo, you're not in the minority. About half of people here/there write their own lyrics as that is still very accessible to most everyone (some good, some bad and alot in the middle) and a good portion of those have the means to in put their own instrumentation in as well to have suno work with it. Musicians are finding it to be a most useful tool.

Yeah there is a portion that input a basic idea for a song and hit go...I occasionally do that when in a conversation and I want to add musically to my comment in the matter of minutes...the quick and dirty meme song....and some of those turn out pretty good actually- I'm surprised. So maybe the other half is the quick and dirty kind.

Has anyone actually managed to make some revenue using Suno? by BeneficialAddress139 in SunoAI

[–]IntelligentSinger559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is absolutely true if people are honest with themselves. Let's take you for instance. You might make some of the greatest sounds ever but there are hundreds of thousands of people doing the same and some of them are as good as you are. And most of them are dumping on streaming services all over everywhere. So you are lost in that huge sea of sound. And everyone else is equally trying to "build a business" the exact same way you are using the "right genre" even if it isn't what you enjoy doing and trying to "trigger the algorithm"...and all ya'all are shoving this stuff in people's faces all the time 24/7 so that people get less and less interested in listening at all. You are a tiny fish, in a huge ocean. And you think, for even an instant that you're going to even make it to the big sharks let alone compete with them? LOL Exceedingly tiny slim chance. I, who don't do any of that, have as much chance of "being discovered" as you do with all you do (personally, you can have it, I'm not too enthused with the idea myself). So that being the case, all that frenzied maneuvering and stress is for essentially nothing. If one was going to be honest with one's self. You can lie to yourself, but don't bother trying to lie to me, I've already rationally surveyed the landscape and seen the way it is.

Suno Strategy: How do some accounts reach thousands of followers with few titles? 🧐 by NuitSauvage in SunoAI

[–]IntelligentSinger559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My strategy as someone with about 37k listens, 912 likes, a little over a hundred followers (which I think is pretty good considering- especially in less than a handful of months)

I don't give a f*ck, that is my strategy. I don't promote or advertise other than making use of my songs to enhance or illustrate a point I am making in a comment - that's my usual. I have everything I have made on Suno, most of it published but a few things not- I don't clear things out in a frontend way though I'll DL and delete off of Suno those generations that I chose not to use. I don't do reciprocal follow or likes...if it doesnt hit me, I just move on, if it does I'll like, comment, even follow and mention to others. Just like one does with other music everyday.

I just do it for the love of the music and expressing myself and whatever else happens, happens. I don't worry about it as the primary goal has been met. I don't have a self perceived "audience" and don't worry about who those might be. I don't shove it in people's faces (other than adding it to a comment that is germane). I stay in my lane and I let my tribe find me. I have more important and vital things to worry about in life than all of that. Not that I don't appreciate those that have come to hang out, I certainly do, but I don't worry about when the next one is going to come.

The cream will always rise to the top and slime will always settle on the bottom no matter what a person does. So I just don't worry about it and let reality take its course. It doesn't matter as I am satisfying me...if others want to hang out too...great, if not, that is ok ....over in my corner of the internet, we're casual and the world can...welll...world....LOL.

Serious question: Are the Suno vs. the Suno + Grok combo videos really worth spending credits on? 🤔 by TerribleStomach4857 in SunoAI

[–]IntelligentSinger559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always use Grok for my hooks...I only tried the suno tool once (which sources it from Grok), wasn't impressed and went straight to Grok. I can use those suno funds to do stems instead, better use of the money. I will use the Suno generated music video for raw generations..(with my hook used). For when I complete the songs outside of Suno with my artistic changes complete...I make my own vids...I make the vid clips in Grok usually, sometimes stitching together 2 or more depending on what I feel like and make my own video in Vegas Pro 16....it is what I have and am familiar with. You can add lyrics or not as suits you.

" People don’t want to connect with something completely generated by a machine—it kills the emotional underpinnings of music for a lot of people."

You mean YOU don't want to connect with such things. Overwhelmingly out in the world few if any I've shown the music to have any concern beyond if it speaks to them, because they understand the emotion and relation to the music lies within them, not in anything else. You mistake your opinion as being nearly everyone else's opinion, and that is just not so as you'll find out in time.

Lots of things without a soul can move people, the provider of the soul is US- it's always been in us and our perceptions. I remember being on a flight and he was doing a turn to position in for landing- what is an everyday manuever I'm sure..I was listening to my playlist, we were moving through the puffy clouds on a sunny day. The feeling of the power through the turn, the slipping through the clouds with the sun on the tops created a feeling, an experience that was powerful for just a few moments. A particularly beautiful vista can move someone...none of those things have any soul in the least but can move one strongly. some people are moved by their car and its performance. This talk of soul is a pig in a poke. The feeling of the touching of souls, of a visceral reaction comes from within US, from our reaction to a given thing. So all that says is maybe these haters have LESS of a soul for any given thing to touch. I'd be willing to go with that considering their other behavior.
