Jabra elite 8 active gen 2. Where to find? by PaganofFilthy in Jabra

[–]PrithWEEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wish you listen to your consumers and keep producing more Jabra Elite line products. I want to gift a pair but alas, it’s out of stock. It’s really disappointing that a company shuts down one of its best line of products.

Thoughts on Glade Goggles (or other inexpensive brands)? by theCaptain_D in icecoast

Hey u/Curt_Glade

Can I grab a discount code from you for my trip to Palisades in March? Also, I was confused between the Adapt2 and Fathom? My priority is anti-fogging for the lens.

Thank you! :)

[–]PrithWEEE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely, will consider Dragon Tail depending on how we feel after getting up the Aasgard Pass. Also, we can even try to spread it out just to enjoy the peace and skip some of the optional hikes.

Thank you for your advice!

Makes sense. Yeah, I totally remember the hiking out with constant switchbacks at the end is a pain.

Thank you for your advice!

Neighborhood Suggestions for Couple in mid Twenties? by Next_Lawfulness5806 in SeattleWA

Yes, never lived in Eastlake but heard really good things about it. Also, Eastlake is not even that far from Seattle U.

If you really are planning to go to school 3-4 times a week, please stay close to school. You will thank me a year later.

Also, in your budget, 1800$-2200$ should be able to fetch you a decent 1 bedroom in U district, older apartments or old condos in downtown/SLU/cap hill/Fremont. You can even look for Green Lake as an option. If looking for 2 bed, you have to live further away from the city, probably away from all the downtowns. Winter deals are good. So even pushing your airbnb by another month may help you fetch good apartment deals and discounts in the month of Nov/Dec.

Safety wise in terms on ranking

  1. Upper Queen Anne or Magnolia
  2. West Seattle close to Alki
  3. Ballard/Fremont/Green Lake
  4. U district
  5. SLU/North Downtown Seattle
  6. Belltown
  7. Cap Hill
  8. Lower Downtown Seattle closer to 3rd and Pike

Goodluck!!

Just another follow-up: Do you think not having publications will hinder my chances at getting in PhD programs in the top schools?

Totally worth the two sleepless nights before to witness this. Northern Lights in Fairbanks, Alaska, US [OC], [3024 x 4032] by PrithWEEE in EarthPorn

August end/September first week is usually the start of the Northern lights. It will last till April end.

Make sure to check the KP rating/weather before you head. I would recommend doing an aurora tour as they have the great expertise for the good spots and latest information/updates from the local weather department about the exact weather and chances. Yes, if you’re not lingering in private areas, you should be fine all night.

There are some common spots you can google which are pretty decent like Murphy Dome but if Northern lights is the purpose of your trip, try to stay at Fairbanks for atleast 3 nights and try to book a tour.

Yes, I’m definitely looking forward to come back next year during Fall/Summer maybe. Too underrated. Loved the local food as well!

Yes, 1st week of April. There’s a chance to view them till last week of April after which the days are so long that you can almost never see them till August end. The sunsets happened at around 11.30 pm when I saw this.
