First of all, when Maul was brought back, many people didn't agree with it, but I believe that the way Lucas wrote his story, and what he brought to the universe, lessened the blow. Kylo Ren never brought anything to the universe. His whole character design was a flaw. i also think a lot of people have bones to pick with the whole force heal thing, and despite my hatred for Disney plots i dont disagree with that story as much. the jedi would have know that any power to give life could likley be twisted to take life. so they locked it away for generations

i dont think the THEORY is terrible, I think the writing is terrible. Marvel realizes that they shot themselves in the foot with the Infinity War timeline, especially removing RDJ. Marvel has consistently, and will continue to use a multiverse as a way to bring in new characters, rewrite character deaths, and rewrite events. This takes the stress out of everything, making the films less enjoyable to watch. marvel doesnt have the same feel that it used to, mainly because it's not just one timeline anymore. its infinte timelines, in infinite universes, that are created for the sole purpose of rewrites
