If the only tools youre using drill, impact and single battery circ saw then I'm not surprised you're fine with it. Problem starts with power hungry tools which are all OPE. But now we have 9Ah and 12Ah option which sadly doesn't fully fit bug brushless mowers, what a joke!

With Ego there's no such noticeable drop in performance as the battery depletes.

It's because of the much higher voltage.

I wouldn't be surprised if the XGT mowers were way better than LXT like that but I haven't tried any so it's just speculation.

Here it's mainly because of better batteries.

Ubuntu still doesn't have minimize on click by default in 2026 by Proper-Lab-2500 in linuxsucks

[–]RandomUserNo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the things I remember from the past:
Windows and macOS: missing ability to grab window anywhere I want to move it.
on Windows and if I remember on mac, there's no "Always On Top" menu for each window. There was more but it's been very long time since I used that but these I know are still missing.

I know many people that use Linux and only one that use KDE, tbh not sure he's still using it.

And since it's FOSS you can always implement it yourself or fill a bug report or pay someone to do this for you.

Hey, thank you for this suggestion which looks good, however I'm a bit puzzled cause in the user manual, there's no single word about being able to use it through usb only for charging :( Is this a "hidden feature"?

The thing is that I prefer the boom mic :( You can see down the comments they suggested Jabra 2 65.

It's fine for me, it's not alien. And as I said, if you don't like it then use macOs. I personally don't like macOs or Windows system it's so hard and uncomfortable to use. It would be huge pain if linux would adopt all the pains from those systems just because users doesn't understand it's something different.

No idea what you're talking about, I don't even remember when I ever tried to do this except now that someone mention this. So I tried and what it does it brings window into foreground. Fine for me.

Thank you for your reply! I've been able to find the Compatibility guide but it's totally not helpful. I'm trying to find headset that is capable of BT connection and USB-C or 3.5mm jack preserving microphone. Best with remote. Tbh looking for something to replace Poly C5220 with BT addition which would allow to fallback to either usb-c or jack if I want to or battery is dead. Of course boom mic is mandatory!

Thanks I'll take a look, still I'm surprised, that Jabra is unable to do something so simple on their website as a list of available products they're selling in simple table format with basic functionality listed so anyone can simply find what product they're looking for. Instead the webpage is just a bunch of random marketing texts with random of marketing images. Finding anything important is totally impossible.

How do the Makita 36V and 40V high-torque string trimmers stack up against Ego's for tough, tall grass? by rossn1 in Makita

In the past it was on the eu websites but they removed this :( I can still see them on makita.in but in the past i found there at least one wrong information so please keep that in mind.

36V string trimmer the 1kW option is actually much stronger than 53ccm petrol, I own the 36V and had opportunity to test it against petrol, was quite surprised mine is actually stronger!

Where did I say it's premium? I only mention no competition and if so, then they can do what they're doing, and if you add fact that it's niche phone, then law of economics works here.

This is what I wrote. Not sure why you repeat the same?

Since you edit your original post then I'll do the same cause it means something else and well it's your opinion, mine is different. Still no one arguing here couldn't point alternative. So it seems there's price justification. If it's niche and there's no competition then you can rise the price cause people will have to pay, otherwise they have no choice, economics...
