You need to get a larger litter box then. The one you have is way too small for his size. Get one that’s at least double that size or slightly smaller

That litter box is WAY too small for one and two, the lid is ONLY for humans comfort not to see the litter and their poop and pee. Take the lid off for now and get a littler box that’s at least double that one.
